I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the fact that Hermione turned out all right, and found an endearing love in Snape (don\'t we wish life was that simple, or that the love was that hot? etc). I really want to emphasize the fact that I admire that you really showed the grooming process that bastards like Malfoy demonstrate on girls like Hermione. I think you captured well, maybe too well, the fact that Lucius is one disturbed man. He\'s killed, he\'s raped, he\'s tortured. This can only be done with enjoyment by the mad, the insane (really, if you enjoy the maliciousness of murder, rape, torture a\'la Malfoy, then I might have to share my opinion that there might be one, two or many screws loose). I think that it also shows how vulnerable any person can be. You tapped into a fear I have with Hermione. I often worry that her intelligene hinders her street smarts, her intuition etc. I\'ve always hoped, am hoping that Hermione was not the type of book-smart person who doesn\'t think they are not susceptible to this horror.
I love the garden analogy. It really fits life, no? The soil that is the richest in its nutrients is the soil that often has had to deal with a travesty (i.e. forest fire, etc). After such a devestation, some of the most beautiful plants grow from the pain. I really love the ending, and how you show that Hermione has seen the capacity of her inner strength and that she was able to find a love that all of us wish to find in Snape, and that they both have started a family.
With one last note, Harry and Ron\'s reactions are priceless. And another last note, Snape is absolutely charming in this story.
Thank you for writing this story, it has been a real pleasure to read.

This...well...I don\'t know exactly what to say. Normally, I don\'t really leave a review on this site but when I came across this story, I couldn\'t help it! This is one of the best Harry Potter fics I have read. I praise you. Hope you writee ste stories like that! A great story from a great authoress. Though I can imagine Lucius escaping from Azkaban (like Sirius) and getting his revenge on both Hermione and Snape. But once again, a great story.

very, very, very well written! In most Fictions, Albus is portrayed as a dottering old fool, or a kniving asshole. Thank you for making Albus Albus! I like Snape. This is good. Harry and Ron are true to form, also. Really good work!

Oh wow!
I just finished reading your story, and it\'s, I have to say, AMAZING! I just loved it! I\'m a huge fan of Snape, obviously, and Snape/Hermione is always an interesting match. I think you picked perfect characters for your story - having Lucius Malfoy being the abuser was brilliant! He\'s such a mystical, evil character, really fascinating, seeing him the way he was with his victims was really great...! Poor Hermione though, but dearest Snape set th rig right..! ;)
Anyways, GREAT story, I loved it! I pray t Nor Northern gods you\'ll write a sequel with Lucius\'s return or something like that... Haha, well, anyways - BRILLIANT!
