One way that Hermione might be able to fight back is by playing them off against each other. Snape and Malfoy are wildly competitive, no more so than in this arrangement. Hermione could plainly express a preference for Snape. Appearing happy to see him would thrill Snape, and reinforce his desire to show her affection. It would absolutely drive Lucius mad. He\'s so accustomed to being the handsome, desirable one. He (and Voldemort) are convinced that Hermione must find him more attractive. If Hermione seems more attracted to--even fond-- of Snape, it may cause Lucius to modify his behavior in order to compete with Snape. Only this time, Hermione can change the nature of the competition. Instead of who can degrade and abuse her the most, the competition could change into who could win her affections. Captives have to use the weapons at hand. Divide and conquer is the one that has worked most often.

What a cracking read! Love the competition between Severus & Lucius, you write for both charcters quite well! Also liked how you incorporated Hermione\'s pov. I\'m really curious to see where this story will go. PLEASE continue!

Hmm...very interesting, the way Lucius\' subtle emotions are slowly coming into play...that is, if you could *call* them emotions. The same applies for Severus--and frankly, I\'m more interested in he than Lucius. (Sorry, but I LoVe my Sevvy!) More and more you pique my curiosity...where, oh where are you going to go with this? After all, this is just my sort of story--perverted virtue, enslaved grace? I\'m there!

I am so glad you are continuing with this fabulous story. And seeing inside all three minds is a great angle. Question: Are they giving her anything to keep her from getting pregnant? I haven\'t seen potions or the like and having sex everyday - well the odds climb sky high, ya\' know?
