Back to the smut! This is good. Would love to know what Snape\'s POV to this was, even if it was obvious. Such a great fic you have here.

Hi babe. Yes, I completely agree with your philosophical statements. I believe that she\'s already having a difficult time separating acting from reality. And I did notice that she said that she didn\'t feel anything for Lucius BEFORE she came to his house. That implies that she feels somethior hor him now. Heh. And yes, I\'m quite well acquainted with BTVS, and Angel is still my favourite show on television. (I only actually watch tele when that show is on. The rest of the time it gathers dust. heh) I actually have a few sites for BTVS/A:ts because it was the fandom I was into before HP. But anyway, I do think Severus is acting rather like Angel. Not that you do it on purpose, just that their characters are inherently similar. The only difference is that Cordelia seemed to have lightened Angel up a bit and he isn\'t evil anymore. *coughyeahrightcough* And I hated Angel and Buffy together! Ugh. She and Spike were a much better team. I\ust ust happy that James Marsters is contracted to be moving to Angel now that Buffy\'s toast. *does a little dance* Gah! Completely off track here! Right, Plaything . . .

I love how Hermione finally realised that she could control them through sex. Severus is easy to control. Make him think that he\'s the most gorgeous and precious thing on two legs and he falls at her feet. I think that Hermione already has him where she wants him. If she presses much more, he\'ll be HER slave. And I don\'t think that he\'ll do a damn thing to stop her, either. However, if/when the time comes for her to be killed, Severus just may step down because he\'ll realise that she wrapped him around her finger and he\'ll see it as an easy way to dispose of her without havin fee feel guilty himself for doing it. To avoid more pain, etc.

Lucius is pretty much under her spell already, but his personal confidence gives him a better resistance to her charms. I think that he\'s more intrigued by her mind than anything else. He\'s different because although he knows that she\'s still quite young, he doesn\'t treat her as a child *like Severus does. He even blew on her food!* The gamesweenween the two of them will be soooo exciting once Lucius figures out what angle she\'s playing. I think he should confront her on it, just to shock the shit out of her and throw everything on another spin. He\'ll also realise what she\'s done to Severus soon enough and I think that he\'ll admire that more than anything else.

I did read the story you got the plot for this from and I have one thing to say - NO! Please don\'t give us the same ending as that one! I don\'t want to see Herm thr thrown to Draco *or even Harry if you make him evil* I\'m sure that you have a much better, more creative, ending in mirighright? Right? Please? *begs on her hands and knees* Please please please?! I want to see her with one of the guys! *Lucius of course, but I suppose Severus would be all right* And I want more Plaything already. How will I cope for the next however many days it\'ll take to get here? *cries*

This was such in, dare I say, erotic chapter yet very
powerful chapter. It is very reassuring that Hermione
is intellectually as strong as she has always been,
knowing exactly what she needs to do. It was bitter
sweet the way she took Severus in the end, but it was
also showed how she could easily over power him.
Excellent job!

Ah, Lucius is completely hooked on having her. It shall be interesting to see just what he and Severus do to keep her. heh. Hmmn. I\'m sure that Lucius can come up with some sort of blackmail to make Severus give Hermione to him.

Oooh... the thot plickens, Darles Chickens! Lucius is feeling uneasy in Voldemort\'s service now. He sees the potential for downfall and he wants to save his own skin. Hmmn. Probably the best reason to leave Voldie high and dry. heh. If I were Lucius, I\'d say piss on them all, steal Hermione, and move to Bora Bora.

I think that it would make sense for the Ministry to keep Hermione\'s location quiet. Or even the fact that she is still alive quiet. Especially from Harry. If Harry knew where she was, he would likely go off half-cocked and get himself killed. The MoM would do anything to keep their hero from dying, even hiding word about his best friend. *nods* Sounds like what they would do to me. heh. Ah, I agree with Lucius. It probably is best to dash her hopes now before they get out of hand. It actually would be kinder. And between Severus and Lucius, I can see Voldemort allowing Hermione to live if Lucius asks because he is the \'faithful\' one. heh. Even though now his faith in Voldie is in tatters, it seems. But Lucius is still convinced that the Dark will win the war. But he doesn\'t say that Voldie will win. No, just that the Light will lose.

I know that Hermione is putting on an act for Lucius, but I wonder sometimes how much of it is an act and how much is really her. In Severus\' pov, it simply screams that she\'s acting. But here, with Lucius, some of it seems genuine. Eurgh. Yes, she\'s laying it on quite thick for Severus and he\'s just eating it up. Stupid sot. heh. And here come Severus with the \'oh woe is me, Malfoy\'s such a prat\' routine. Honestly. I can see the man actually saying this to himself, brooding and all. And it\'s always the same tune. Boo-hoo, Malfoy has what I want. It seems to be his motivating factor in life. To have something that Malfoy can not. Eh. *waves hand dismissively* Hermione doesn\'t need another brooder. heh.

Ah. The last sentence... double meaning there? The more times I read it, the less I understand. But then again, I\'m quite tired and my eyes are blurry so perhaps I\'ll understand in the morning. It seems to me that Severus only wants Hermione to show up Malfoy. And I do hope that Malfoy isn\'t poisoned! That would suck. But anyway, once again Malfoy shows actual emotions whilst Severus displays childish \'mine!mine!mine!\' behaviour. Hmmn. Also, in the poll you have up at your yahoogroup... the \'herself\' option disturbs me. I do hope that you\'re not going to go for one of those \'and she walks off into the sunset by herself\' dealies. That would suck. Yeah, all for feminism and empowerment sort of stuff *can you hear my enthusiasm?* but I think that she\'d be very well suited for Lucius. Then again *sighs* one doesn\'t always get what they want. Grr. Heh.

I can almost see Lucius and Snape killing each other because of Hermione! (that\'s what she wants, right?) She

I thought this chapter was fantastic--all of three main characters read as completely three-dimensional, and there\'s yet another side of Hermione\'s cunning. Bravo! I especially enjoyed a further look at Lucius\', ahem, \"vulnerable\" side--and it was interesting to see how both men are so susceptible to her (feigned) wiles. Also enjoyed Hermione\'s slip during her dialogue with Snape, revealing her innermost thoughts---classic stuff. Carry on!
