that was awesome, beautiful and sad. i know im going to be particularly cruel to my harry plushie for the next couple of days. This story was so wonderfully written, and i loved you hermione and snape characterizations, and lucius was like a artistocrat-;) I loved how he tried to hit dobby with the book, and i love hermione\'s conversation with harry. And when she talked with ron, i almost cried. The ending was sad, unexpected and profound, the kind that leaves you thinking and hoping long after youve done read the story.

I like this! I normally don\'t enjoy pig-Harry in fictions, but I didn\'t mind this at all. It\'s funny how Lucius\' \"lie\" for Hermione was more truth than not in the end. I think a sequel would be interesting, if you think you could push one out. Maybe she could piss Harry off even more and end up with Severus!! Harry could then be the boy-who-had-a-stroke. ;D Anyway, I truly enjoyed, even without the fluffy love at the end.

I can\'t believe that I haven\'t stumbled on this before. Is there more, a sequel maybe? Please, please write more!

Very nice bit of Lucius/Hermione fiction! It doesn\'t have that much smut, but it more then makes up for that in heart, well done :) I particularily enjoyed the last line

This is not the first time I\'ve read this fic, I must\'ve stumbled over it in the lj lists somewhere before. But I wanted to tell you just how much I\'ve enjoyed it. It\'s clever, sly and gorgeous, and I\'m just referring to Lucius. Your Hermione is a beautiful blend of capability and insecurity, and I love the change in her. I also happen to thoroughly enjoy your Snape -- he\'s snarky and commanding, and the banter between the two Slytherins is really delicious.

However, among the several witty lines, this is probably my favorite: \"Subtlety isn\'t always the wisest approach, Mr. Malfoy. Sometimes, it\'s best to simply club a snake over the head and have done with it.\" Each time I read it, I laugh. She might be direct, but she\'s effective.

HOLY HELL! That was amazing! I am so awestruck, that I now find myself stumbling for the best praises I could give. That story was so great, and your writing was...was... so, so great. I loved it... I couldn\'t stop reading. The plot, the characters, the way everything flowed so wonderfully. I\'m a total fan... I wish there were more hg/lm fics out there, done with such grace. ^_^ I\'m totally content.

Excellent fic! You might consider putting it in the Lucius/hermione section so other fans can find it easily. I would have never come across this story if it hadn\'t been recently edited and thus pushed to the top.
