What could the house elves do?!?! The first two things that jumped into my mind were (and the first is REALLY cliche) do the chambers in Gryffindor colors, or do it in shades of pink or pastel colors with doilies everywhere! ROTF!! This was a great chapter! I just love how Hermione is taking over!!

This is the funniest thing I\'ve read in ages! Poor Snape. Hermione is so abrasive and mean, I wouldn\'t wish her on my worst enemy....then again, maybe I would. :) Very interesting!

Great. How soon can you get the next chapter up?I think that Dobby should have the room done either all girly like(you know, lacy pillows, flowers and roses), or in Gryffindor colors or like the bedromm in Moulin Rouge, Satine\'s room all done in red. Really swanky and trashy and bordello like.

Make the room really industrial modern. Everything in white, grey, metal furniture, weird paintings, and a very sterile feel. That would be hilarious! Pink and frills and such are WAY to overdone.

I LOVE IT! Your chapters are always worth the wait... and if I wanted to piss off Snape, I would redecorate his room in Griffindor colors (or pink...)

Cool chapter, as was the previous chapter.
House elves like to serve, don\'t they? They really want to be needed so would naturally prefer decor that is demanding to clean. Left to their own devices without having to suffer the input of their usually Dark Wizard masters I suspect they would produce a lightfilled landscape of glass and brass or chrome furniture against a background of walls and drapes coloured white or pale cream. No shadows for dust or anything else nasty (ie, Snape) to lurk in. There\'d also be a few pieces that occasionally need specialised cleaning attention, such as an intricate crystal chandelier (sp?). And fresh flowers... must be many large vases of fresh flowers, because picking and arranging flowers for people is probably the sort of stuff that makes house elves delerious with joy.
Of course Hermione wouldn\'t be thrilled about them making themselves more work, but she would defend them to Severus. And Severus would be aghast at the change, but might find it somewhat more difficult to explain why he is annoyed than if they just made everything red and gold.
Hmmm, they may even paint that old desk of his, I\'m thinking crackle finish cream paint with gilded trim and hand painted folk art flowers in tasteful colours.

Pink!!!! the room needs to be decorated in pink...even if Hermonie isn\'t overly fond of...ok, she seems like the kind of her who hates pink but...come on, Snape\'s bed in frills and lace and pinkage....ahh. Please update soon, I\'m sure however you make the little elves decorate the room, I\'ll love....and I\'m just as sure Snape will love it too....

Good chapter. As usual. Well written, not too many errors (if any), and I laughed a bit. I particularly enjoyed the scene where the other girls get to find out Snape\'s size. Mmm, if I could find a man that big ... ::sigh::

The room should have dark purples, golds, silvers, and blacks. Not to modern, and very elegant and sophisticated. Oh, and I can DEFINITELY see some shag carpet. Maybe even some kind of special house elf expansion charms. I don\'t know. Just somehow make them bigger.

I love the story, how about a bed that is Ivory with a lace conapy and wild flowers growing like vines over it and a griffindor color carpet and accent pillows
