I just came across your story last evening. You offer believable characterizations and an intriguing, promising plot line. As a fic writer myself, I know how frustrating it can be to receive only a smattering of reviews for your efforts. If it helps, I think this is a very well-written piece and really do look forward to seeing how Severus and Hermione develop this 'working relationship.' Please post again soon.

Great chapter. I loved that little bit about her asking him for moral guidance. I also agree, they have to explain her being in his office somehow, after all, Lucius will most certainly start talking. I mean Draco already knows, so chances are the whole school will have found out by dinnertime.

Ch 5 - I'm glad Hermione is being ratl abl about things. Will she study independently for her NEWTs, maybe take them early? Nice to see Ron and Harry taking the news semi-well; I just hope they can keep their mouths shut and keep up the "acting pleased" part. So now you'll tell us what the projects are? And will they ever find out how Lucius sneaked through? That's rather scary, the idea of Lucius popping in at any time! Thanks for the cookie...umm, chapter! :=)
