I really enjoyed this story, and I believe your quote is from "Batman" - isn't that what The Joker says to little boy Bruce after he kills his parents?
And to your reviewers who have a problem with Author's Notes - if you don't like them, don't read them!

I loved the story. The only thing I wasn't sure about was how quickly and unashamedly Hermione threw herself into stripping off in a very public place, especially in front of the rest of the professors. I also loved the way you fitted in the 'Batman' quote - I almost overlooked it, but ertaertainly raised a smile when I realised, and it fitted in so well.

Cute story especially for a first attempt. The ending was a very nice twist. Grammar wise, I didn't flow well when you swithched back and forth between present and past tense, especially whithin the same scene. It is ok to use present tense in the dialog, but not to swithch back and forth in the author's telling of the story. I think it would have sounded best if you kept to the past tense. Looking forward to reading more of your stories.

The quote came from Batman, the one with Jack Nicklson as the Joker. Or at least that was what my bat senses told me. LOL! Nice work and hope to read more from you soon.

OK, this was funny...really, I laughed even though I am normally highly annoyed with Hermione singing words to modern pop songs in fics.
Now, I think you would do well to figure out if you want to write this in past or present tense and then stick with it. It was confusing when you kept switching back and forth between the two. And, on the story itself, I could possibly see Hermione doing the strip-tease on a bet in front of Snape alone(and even maybe with the one she lost bet bet to looking on)...but NOT in a public place in front of the other professors and strangers. However, despite this, Trewlaney's expressions were hilarious.

Okay. You know I have to say this is a good story. Good enough for me to forgive the fact that it felt like you had Hermione yelling the song rather than singing it when you had the song all in caps. But what I can' seem to get past is the very, truly unnecessary authorote.ote. You may have thought it cute. It wasn't. If you thought it confusing, rewrite it. If you didn't want to change it and you felt the need to comment on it, do it after you are done with the chapter. I've criticed others on this very point so I am going to try a different method here. In all the Harry Potter books that you've read, have you EVER seen an author's note? Do you get it now?
