I get that not all stories need happy endings, but fuck, this was just unnecessarily and completely horrible. The key to a dark ending is the inclusion of something positive. Hermione could have died during childbirth or sometime after, and it would be a heartbreaking ending, but the baby would be the light remaining in Harry's life to make him feel like life was still worth living, leaving the reader in tears instead of simply horrified.
Anyways, this was good, until it was grossly horrible.

Should be marked for angst and character death. Some of us have enough crap in our own lives without reading about it being dumped on our favorite characters as well.

I honestly believe that that was one of the worst fanfictions I have ever read in the entirety of my life. A warning should come with it saying something like 'I've lost my mind and decided to kill a pregnant Hermione and end it there with the most horrid ending I could think of', at the very least that would be appropriate. If you feel that Cages is even remotely good you have lost the respect I had for your other stories completely.

wow. i just HAD to review. this was spectacular; it made me all teary and i had to read it again and again and again. like one of your other reviewers said - you\'ve GOT to put this up on FF. it\'s awesome!
