This is one of those few stories that I have managed to fall in love with during my time exploring the realm of fanfiction. The first time I had gotten to the end, I had to go back and reread it, only to be as speechless as my original read. It takes a brilliant and creative author to convey such a broad range of emotions and meaning in a story with so few words to spur them on; needless to say, you have achieved this. Your raw, yet layered, writing style left me with a tingling sensation of having re-explored and re-analyzed the human condition. Subtly hinting at what occured and who said it left more knowledge about the situation that blatantly stating what happened. The reality of what would have been said and what wouldn't have needed to be explained created more of an understanding than letting us in on the character's thoughts. Leaving your fiction flexible and open to interpretation left more of an impression than telling us all what happened, when, with whom, why, and how.

This is the kind of story that you can read again and again and still end up feeling as though it were merely the first time you laid eyes on it.

I hope you are proud of your work and continue to write stories that captivate your audience and captivate yourself. It seems as though you enjoyed writing it.

Okay. Basically I read this fic a long time ago, somewhere- I have no idea where, and it was just absolutely fucking amazing. It blew me away.

And then the next day, I was at a complete loss as to where it was. I couldn't even remember the bloody name. I have no idea how I forgot something so important, but it was so late (or rather early in the morning) when I first read it, that these things almost seemed to be irrelevant compared to the actual writing itself. If that makes any sense.

And then a few days ago, someone recommended that I read this story on my LJ, and I finally found the time. I was so, so thrilled to discover it was THE fanfiction story that I lost those few months ago!

I don't know if you still manage to read the reviews on here, but I honestly was so completely captivated by your story that it almost brought tears to my eyes. I know everyone says it, but I can't really cry at things like this. I can't make myself cry over writing, no matter how desperate I need to let it out. Anyway, this one brought me the closest. And it's truly spectacular- I just- gah. I'm rambling on now, and I know that, but I've wanted to say these things (perhaps in a slightly more coherent manner) for a long time.

Your Draco and Hermione were heart-breaking, and it was such a beautiful story that captured the very essence of them both, as well as human nature itself as a concept. It just seemed so horrifically, heart-wrenchingly beautiful. I couldn't tear my eyes away, not this time, and especially not the first time.

So what I'm trying to say, in a perhaps a very overly-dramatic and long-winded way, is thank you so much for this story. I think it's absolutely hands down fucking brilliant, and I love it. Inside out LOVE it.

I love this fic. It\'s so unbelievably powerful and amazing all at once. Not a huge fan of Hermione and Draco, but this makes me ADORE them.
