Brilliant! Very well done ~ from the description of the differences between the Snapes (pere et fils) to Hermione's brave (if ill-considered) response to Tobias' ... uh, "welcome" .. this was a nicely woven thread.

Oh my goodness. WONDERFUL UPDATE! I hope you post the next chapter fast, I can't wait to see how her time there goes. I loved how she put Snape Sr. in his place.

A whole chap without His Royally Stiff Snarkiness? And Neville&Tonks? I put my guess on Hannah. But it was good to have them here in this chap, because it's getting sadder and sadder (I dearly hope you'll make it up to us later on), Hermione has more than a lot on her shoulders with the councelling and her own miseries. It's just awfull how Hermione's parents treat her. And Harry is not much better, I think. Anyway, Hagrid is a great choice to give her away.

Lady Tuesday, this is currently my favorite HG/SS story, and I'm more glad than I can say that you've updated (and not abandoned) it. I decided it would be obnoxious to pester you with requests for an update, since you seem to have quite a bit on your RL plate, but mercifully nothing can stop me from thanking you, profusely, for the splendid new chapter.
