Oh my gosh!! What an amazing story. I love the description, the way you take the canon of the characters (which you nail straight to the heart of them!) and lead them through the chapters, subtly changing their views as they deal with whatever you put before them.
I got far too emotional at Ron's death, but loved the small insight into the way that Severus feels about Hermione in the small gesture he allows himself when he thinks no one is watching. Understated, yet truly brilliant.
I am writing this at a quarter to four in the morning, because I couldn't stop reading, and just HAD to leave a message to say how much I appreciate your work!
I would love to see more of this story written, I'm hanging off the edge of my seat waiting to see how our witty, proud Gryffindor will put the egotistical and pain-in-the-arse Marquis in his place! And if and when Hermione will realise that Severus really does care for her, in his own snarky-git way.
Much love and waiting eagerly for the next installment ... (that is if you are still writing it!)

After reading this story for a long time [ahem, ahem four years], I'd say I've stuck with it. But, having adjusted to the Half Blood Prince so easily, it just seems totally weird to read 'Marquis Tobius Snape' without chuckling.
But, poor Hermione is being set up from both sides by these guys. She's great at sticking up for herself, and Severus, but still, they continue to attempt to ruffle her for different reasons. No wonder the girl wants to duck out early and alone! Severus deserved being scraped off like that.

Yes!!! New Chappy!!!!!! yayayayayay!!! Loved this chapter, and I'm glad to see Hermione holding her own against the Marquis. What a horrid, bitter man. Wonder what happened to him to make him so charming...

This story is amazingly well written. I devoured each and every chapter and was actually very frustrated to come to the end. I hope that you'll update quickly. I'm very interested to see what you have in mind for my favorite ship. Thank you for you talent.

Ah, worth the wait.
Dig, dig, dig....will Tobias ever give up? Good lord. Unlikely, right? But finally, things seem to be softening - ever so slightly - between Hermione and Severus.
My favorite bit was when she cast the silencing charm and screamed and hurled the teacup - god, how I wish I could do that in real life. I can scarcely think of a scenario where that wouldn't come in dead useful. I'm the mother of two toddlers. Oh, yes, it would be useful. (Mutely throwing a plastic bottle across the room, out of sight of the kids and trying not to break anything, is in no way satisfying.)
