This is one of the odder pieces I've read in a good long time. Though its very very odd and choppy. Overall good for a novice but if you're really writing yourself a novel be sure to rewrite it a few times. You have great potential, just don't stop learning to tricks.

Hey April,
Good to see you and your fic. It was pretty dark. What Severus did was giving in his own twisted way. He expected death to follow, but instead he will have a lifetime being petted by Hermione. He will never let her go.
Any chance on you continuing "Pet" anytime soon? I'd love to read more of that fic.

Yes. It has always been my intention to complete The Pet. I'm about half-way through my original novel (please do read and review), plus I'm taking another writing course and it's keeping my hands full. My intentions have been to leave the SS/HG ship after completing The Pet. I know, never say never. Hugs to you, April

Wow... It's nice to see SlimeySnape in a fic, and not only that, but to see Hermione turn the tables on him and unman him. Of course, it's good to see that she didn't unman him *too* much. Well written ending lady; makes me want to beg and plead for more, but as it is, it's wrapped up well, and works. You know it's a good ending when it leaves you wanting more, but satisfied by what you have. Well done lady.

I know you said "not romantic", but I found it strangely beautiful. I loved the way Hermione, unexpectedly, turned the tables on Severus. Really not as dark as I thought it may be. But would love a "Here poe point of view" on this. Thank you for the story...please do not apologise for anything crafted so well. :D
