i looked around for the Egyptian Asp but the only snake i got close enough to was Asp: describing several vemonous snakes.

I had to read the whole thing, and this has to be one of the best fics written! I loved how they still had a lot of love for each other over the years, and everyone was just...wow, is all I can say! Wonderful, wonderful!!!! EM

Hey, this is an awesome fic; at least the little that I've read so far. Just stumbled on this story, and I'll definitely have to finish it when I have time. Just wanted to make a comment on the snakes, lol. The asp, or more commonly known as the Egyptian Cobra is indeed very venomous; more so than other cobras. It is said that Cleopatra committed suicide with this snake. Their relatively docile and I suppose their relative good at camouflaging, especially since they differ in color from greyish yellow, to brown, to almost black. Especially from the relatively high death rates that this snake causes, which should suggest its either good at camouflage, or the victims were morons. Though I'm leaning more towards the moron side since they're said to be a docile species; not to mention, how do you not notice a snake rearing up, and probably hissing? (lol, natural selection) But, eh, I'm rambling. Anyways, really nice story!

Just wanted to say how much I am really enjoying the story. You have done a good job with the plot. It rides along nicely. Was sorry to see Draco get so upset over his cousin seeing how it was before Harry and him got together.
