That was indeed excellent!

This is the second time I\'m reading Closer, and I remembered that this is something that struck me the first time I read it. The fipartpart of Closer focussed so greatly on Draco that Hermione\'s character was so silent. It impacted me because as a reader, I don\'t know why she\'s there, or her motivation. I only understand the motivations of Draco and his very great desperation.

As the story unfolds, we see a meeting point and then an exchange of character pov. Now we understand how the story came to be; how Hermione found and rescued him. The mirror of their story is good use of plot structure, as it also mirrors their need for each other.

Extremely well-written. Very skilful use of the erotic genre to tell a story. Not quite a Porn-Without-Plot, but there is a redemptive quality in the fic that sets your story apart from the usual excuse to write smut.

Props on the story, but what kind of freakin insane song was that? The one about animal fucking?

first of all, i absolutely love that song by nin. i think its definitely one of the better trent reznor ever wrote, outside of his entire first cd.

moving on from that, your story was absolutely amazing. im usually not big into emotional trauma, but you almost forced tears to my eyes. i could feel dracos deadness and that was really f***ing intense. i adored the fluffy ending of love, but it fit so damn well. absolutely amazing.
