Great start! It is such a relief to spot a well writen, developed story on this site; you mostly find smutty one-shots. I\'m a sucker for L/J fics, and finding this one is like a dream come true. Thanks for staying in canon; it\'s really rare to find.

Seems good. I think the description is a little overly poetic - ie, I\'d rather *see* the train carriage than know Lily has \'emerald\' eyes. I like the build up though, definite potential there with a layering of description. I also like the description of James, but a little humour being introduced would be good. Some idea of the banter set up, and the wit that makes HP that much more interesting.
