I was unsure at first, but this is turning into a lovely story. Hind-sight being 20/20, good call on Hermione being classified as deceased by the MoM. It looks as though true relationships will have the opportunity to develop as a resu Qui Quite believable; good call!

In answer to ancientgirl\'s comment, I would like to mention that I don\'t find it painfully obvious that Hermione didn\'t want Severus in their lives, it\'s totally within the psychology of her character to be afraid of his ultimate reaction, to be afraid of risking the happiness that she had found with her daughter in America to tell him... What if he had cared enough to try to take her away? And by God, what if he hadn\'t?? Where would the two parents relationship be in all of this ? What effect would it have on an impressionable young child?

There you see gea gears turning away in my analytical little mind... proof that you\'re doing great!

Great chapter. But I\'m not understanding Hermione\'s whole attitude. Its painfully obvious now that she never intended or seems to have wanted Severus to know of his daughter which I think is inexcusable. I have to say I really dont\' like her in this story. I\'m glad you added this twist though. It will serve her right to not have any say in Silenus\'s life for a while and have Severus there instead. I really can\'t wait to read the next chapter and have a little glimpse of Severus talking with his daugher alone.

Liked the plot twist of Hermione being considered dead. VERY GOOD way to ensure that Severus gets a foot in the door as a father.

(Screaming (right along with Hermione) AAAAARGH!) Poor Hermione, that is so not fair. But good for Serverus, I guess their daughter\'s name is going to change after all. I don\'t know how to feel about this development. I suppose all I can do is hope for the best, being it willp sop sooth Severus\' feathers so their relationship can progress. Oh my.
