Loved loved loved this last chapter. I've been waiting for them to finally just admit they at least care for each other and want to be together. The signs are all there! I think its funny though Silenus has no clue LOL. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Glad you updated again! The scene in which Silenus asks their parents permission for the stay with Jessie was priceless. I can so imagine they both had all kind of worst case scenario's in mind because of her serious sound before asking the question, while such a simple thing as accepting an invitation by your best friend can be so important at such age. I like you show both sides of her, the clever girl that is quite capable of being her fathers match and on the other hand the 12r olr old with all her teenage desires.
And another thing: I do find it quite understandable that both both Hermione and Severus don't recognize their feelings for each other. He because he still hasn't forgive himself for the choices he made in his past and she because she has devided her life in different sections, in which being togheter with Severus a parent to their child, is stored in another compartiment as having a relation with someone. And they are of course both afraid of intimacy and both desperate for staying in control :-)
I remeber i read at some other reviewpage of your story someone wondering why she was dating men in the first place. I think this has to do with her wish to stay in control. When you are meeting a new person, you are far more in control in regulating the amount and extend of intimacies you are willing to share when closer contact is developing, then when you start dating with someone you already knohe fhe fact that Severus and she already have some kind of context enlarges for both of them the barrier to know each other better and have a kind of fresh look at each other.
But as you already showed in the developing relation between Silenus and her father, being honest to each other really can cross bridges. Hope Severus and Hermione realize this is also true for the way they approach each other.

Great story so far. I have one questi Now Now I get that Selenus is loyal to her mother after all she only just met her father, but, I\'m seeing only how she reacts to Severus after just meeting him. Doesn\'t she feel a bit resentful to her mother for keeping her from her father for so many years. I mean lets put aside the fact Hermione was trying to keep her safe. She\'s been safe for a long time, so why wasn\'t anything said? How does Selenus feel about that? She kind of let Severus have it there at the end. I would be interested to have her confront her mother about this.

I\'m glad Hermione apologized to him. Its the one thing she haden\'t done and the first thing she should have done. I love that he is taking an active role in Selenus\' life and I can\'t wait for the chess match. I\'m curious as to what they will bet. I hope its nothing humiliating to either of them though. I\'m looking forward to more. Please don\'t keep us waiting too long.
