I was very glad to see an update of this; it\'s a very unique story on AFF.Net, an NC-17 story, loaded with sexuality and kink, and still written with a detailed and complex plot that would be a pleasure to read even if the overall content was edited down to something that FF.Net would accept. It also has that rarest of things in fanfic these days, a new approach to the relationship between Harry and Hermione, with a truly fascinating blending of dominant/submissive behavior, not in any sort of sadomasochistic manner, but with each of them assuming the position (no pun intended) that is the best for them psychologically.
I admit to having been worried about the fallout over Ginny\'s planned use of Polyjuice Potion, but you handled that quite well. I can\'t wait to see what Ron\'s reaction will be. Well done as always!

Harry Potter and the Secret Nurse will go on, soon.
A lot has been happening lately. I\'ve devoted some of my time to actually trying to publish an original work which I have sent off to half a dozen publishers so far in Canada. It\'s a short story of a character I\'m fleshing out for a full sized novel. No title for the novel, yet, but you\'ve already seen the character in Harry Potter and The Secret Nurse. It\'s Catherine O\'Hara, a witch who solves crimes and mysteries.

Very nice of Mugglenet to post the story, since it\'s actually named \"The Mugglenet Murder\" A story that\'s supposed to take place in RL about an obsessed Harry Potter fan who commits an act of murder. I rewrote the story for serious publication and removed all trace of J K Rowling\'s universe. I wanted this to be a completely original venture of my own universe. It\'s based greatly on the Wicca religion as it is in RL so I\'ve been doing A LOT of research lately. Reading books, playing with Tarot cards, fiddling with crystals and actually attempting scrying. Very big world this, it\'s taking a lot of my time.
And I\'m also attempting to learn how to write mysteries, which is in itself a gigantic world of learning. Loads of reasearch, lots of books to read.
Good news about HP and the Secret Nurse. Some changes at work allow me to work at home which will allow for much more free time to carry on with the story. Loads more planned, I haven\'t hit a brick wall. I know where the story is going. I just needed a fresh approach after writing over 400 pages of material. I think this ought to round out at 600 to 800 pages in total. The next two chapters next week at the latest, and there\'s still material I wrote last summer to work in.

This is, without a doubt, the funniest thing I have read on AFF -- in fact, it\'s the funniest fanfic I\'ve read since I last went through Gina Dartt\'s archives. And I\'m only in the sixth chapter.
Excellent work, good characterization. But even if there were flaws, I\'d miss them in all the humor.

Two things;
This tale has Hedwig as a male AND takes place in the modern world intentionally for reasons that will turn up much later in the story. This was not a mistake I made at first and it was too late to correct later. I can\'t go into details as to why, but I promise it all will become clear.
Also, this may be the last time I\'ll publish two chapters at a time for a while. Unless I scrape up some free time over the holidays. If I get fired from my job, which I\'m kind of counting on and collect E.I., hell, I\'ll have the free time to do three chapters a week at least.

First off I have to say this has been a fantastic adventure. I do hope you are continuing to write this... I started reading this on ff.net but ironically chapter 15 was missing and the story had only gone to chapter 16... I had read in one of the yahoogroups about this story being here and sought it out so I could continue reading it...
I was amazed at how good it was and at times I laughed my arse off...
Other then the fact that you have dated the story too far into our time frame (It would only be 1996 for them right now) my biggest complaint is the fact that Hedwig is in actuality a female not a male... I know that is probably a really stupid nit to pick but all the same it\'s something that bugs me...
Anyway... Please continue on with this story and I would love to have this story posted on my yahoogroup Muirnins_Musings as it is a delightful read...

Thanks for the continual e-mails... I love getting those and then going \"WHOOOT he\'s got a new chapter up!\" It\'s that one subject line that\'ll make a persons day, instead of reading \'buy v1agra online! No scrip needed\'. Anyways... keep up the great writing and can\'t wait for another chapter/e-mail.
