I don\'t usually read Draco/Hermione stories since my favorite couple is Hermione/Snape, but I have to say this is a funny story. I can totally see Lucius turning against Voldemort for his own means. And I thought the scene at the train station with the Malfoys looking at Hermione was hilarious. Keep up the wonderful writing. And I wouldn\'t worry about some of the characters being off. This is what fanfiction is for after all.

Great story you have so far, very creative and original. Write more soon.

Actually, your story doesn\'t necessarily need Lucius to not have gone to Azkaban. He could have gone and that would have been another reason for the ease in his defection. Lucius could have taken the imonmeonment as a reality check - he could have advised Voldemort against the Dept of Mysteries fiasco, but they wouldn\'t listen to him. Feeling that his position is somewhat shaky because of Bellatrix\'s return, and that the mad Lestranges are leading the Death Eaters \'off\', Lucius might therefore take the opportunity presented to him by the Seer\'s prophecy to defect.

Good chapter 2, nonetheless. I look forward to more.

Ok, I NEVER review for fictions, but I just have to on yours!!! This is by far *the* best plot I have ever read, and you were brilliant for coming up with it. Not only that, but you write beautifully, which is such a relief, considering how writing could turn the best plots into awful stories. You have to continue this, especially since I reviewed, and please do it quickly. Right now there is a distinct lack of good Draco/Hermione fics, and this one awesome!!! Just wanted to let you know how great this story (and you) are!!! Update soon!!!
