Double Standard indeed. I can see Narcissa\'s point, but good Lord. A few chapters back, Draco MADE his friends stop tormenting Hermione - Hermione just looks at Ron and Harry and says inane things like \"oh honestly\" and \"aren\'t you glad he\'s not being a git any more?\". She\'s supposed to be the Gryffindor! But Draco is showing more courage then Hermione is!! He has to sacrifice everything he\'s ever believed, everyone in his life that he values other then his parents, for the sake of a girl who until recently he hated more then anything humanly imaginable! And she has the nerve to say that _HE\'S_ being unreasonable?! I can understand the trapped feeling, but I just... just... I... How can she do that? Doesn\'t it hurt her?! I want to alternately smack her and hug her. She may be an idiot right now but... still. And Draco did try to be nice to her friends - for months he did. And all they did was try to make things worse. But of course, the only one time he picks a fight with them, she blows up at him, he grovels, is honest, and then she proceeds to ignore him for months. When her parents said they were proud of her, all I could think of was how obvious it was that they had no clue what they were talking about. The situation is rapidly deteriorating, and unfortunately, Hermione is more to blame then he is. He\'s trying to make the best of it, and she\'s railing about things beyond his control. Why couldn\'t she go on about S.P.E.W. again or something? She needs a distraction.

Oh, and, thank you for beating up Weasley, that was just beautiful. <3

you\'ve got a a good plot so far, and for the most part I like your versions of d & hr, but you need new betas, because they\'re not doing their jobs. besides basic grammar, be careful about repeating ideas; know what concise is. a sentence shouldnt exist just to fill up space, everything should drive the plot or describe the scene or reveal the emotions.

I love that this is more than just smut, and thank you, thank you for avoiding the head-boy-and-head-girl-sharing-a-dormitory cliche! why didnt hermione accept head girl? when is are they gonna finally see the love btwn them? Looking forward to next chapter.
