Ooh, I agree - big, bad but passionate old Snapey, with just the odd chink in the facade to get a finger hold in. You write him that way, and so well! I can see Hermione falling for it too. Always having to be in control of herself and the sensible voice when others steer a dangerous course, finally giving in to a \'safe\' but scary situation.
Will they find find any kind of relationship beyond sex? I eagerly await the next chapter.

What powerful emos ths this evokes. I think you\'ve captured both characters quite well.
I like how you build the tale. Hermione\'s nervoss ass and then \'bravery\' and slow then fast acceptance and the giving of herself to the fantasy... that is broken by an ill-timed word from a man who has always humiliated and seemingly despised her. I like that Severus seems to leave his animosity behind as he enjoys the situation, as a man who enjoys the control over a woman who is learning to enjoy not having it. And I wonder what will happen now he knows what he\'s potentially lost... and look forward to seeing how he - no, they - gt bat back. Get past the barriers of who they\'ve been to each other and what was said, and become all they could be to each other.
I look forward to the next installment.
