A Simple Love with a Complex Touch is the first slash smut I\'ve ever read, and I\'m glad I did.
Barfly has an excellent writing style, and her ability to keep each character, well, in character is very well executed. Draco remains true to form in his snotty, obnoxious, and outright offensive ways, and Harry is caring, thoughtful, and forceful. I liked th-D

The ship is altogether angsty, and the writing here exemplifies that rather successfully. I LOVED the mutual attacks, and the bloody kisses made it even MORE enjoyable. The scenes were also vividly descriptive, making the illustrations clear in my mind. I didn\'t find any inconsistencies whatsoever, and that made the story flow without fault.

I want to say something bad about this. I WANT to write that you didn't do this or that right, just because this fic should not BE. A smutty fanfic with both characters IN character and an actual plot? I'll admit that bit at the beginning with the urine disturbed me a bit, but it wasn't overly gross or graphic, it had something to do with the plot, and itn't n't take away from the quality of the fic. Amazing. The brattiness of Dris pis perfect, the calm control of Harry is wonderful. I'll give it an A+ ... something NC-17 rarely ever recieve, so be happy!

every time i readd this story i find something brand new to love about it. this time i really, really, really loved how well you got them in character -- it's amazing how slashy, but still canon this manages to be. ^__^ like i've said many times before, i really like your hermione and ron. i really like how draco reacts to them, which is kinda, sorta not at all. just how i imagined a h/d relationship to be. very good. ^______^
