when he sees his booring potions master

Yeah, well, I obviously can\'t spell. \'booring\' was supposed to be \'brooding\'. oops. sorry.

Wow!
A wonderful new chapter. You have captured their mood beautifully. And he has left his shoes behind, so there\'s hope he will return. And Albus is one evil git! Or isn\'t he?

I am enjoying this story so much I may be a brat and refuse to do anything else until I get more of it.
The dishes are piling up as it is.

Usually when I read a story, I appreciate a particular character, plot twist, line, or something similar. It\'s rare that I find an entire chapter that stands out in quality. For me, your chapter 4 was that kind of chapter - sexy, fluffy & angsty all at the same time. It was terrific. I look forward to more such chapters.

That was very sweet...he left his shoes...hehehe. I got this wonderful image of Snape wandering through Hogwart\'s corridors in his socks...
So, when will we learn what Hermione saw at that final battle, hmmm? Looking forward to more chapters!

\"Hermione turned her head to see that his shoes were still on the floor by her bed. When she turned back, Snape was gone.\"

That is so sweet -- obviously he\'s reminding her of what she said, and he doesn\'t want to leave.

Absolutely wonderful chapter and an equally wonderful story. I look forward to your next udpate. :-)

Keep up the good work.

Wow, that\'s a very interesting final-battle backstory, or at least an interesting hint of what happened. I wonder what role that will play in present day, if any. It\'s a heck of a thing to be able to hold over Hermione, even though it seems she saved Harry and the world.

I\'m glad you had Snape admit to himself that he had fallen in love with the idea of Hermione more than the reality, the student Hermione, even as he further admits that he could probably fall in love with the real thing. (I like that he was initially attracted by her tenacious will as well as her clear thinking.)

Nice touches here as always -- Snape thinking of his clock as \"real time\" made me grin, and Dumbledore\'s arch address made me laugh out loud. (The headmaster didn\'t have to write anything other than \"Severus Snape\"; the owl would have found Snape wherever he was, so the twinkly meddler must enjoy rubbing in his ability to know where everyone is and what (who?) they\'re doing.)

And I\'m glad Snape left his shoes. ;-)

Oh, what a bittersweet way to end that chapter. He left his shoes. Sigh. I\'m really enjoying this story.
