It\'s not often that a fan fiction piece moves me to tears. This one did. I am sure I am only one of many, many women who loved a man who was unable to love back in equal measure. Thank you for an extraordinary tale.

Blessed be,
Dame Niamh

Amazing. Simply amazing. When I discovered that an OFC was going to be paired with Snape, for a few minutes I was afraid that this would become an eloquent Mary Sue fic. I can\'t tell you how happy I am that it didn\'t. By the epilogue, I had fallen in love with Celia and love/hate with the \'Professor\'. You twisted my heartstrings in all the right ways; I\'m anxious to read the rest of your writing. If this is what comes out of it, eat pizza on rainy nights more often. Excruciatingly beautiful work.

I just wanted you to know that chapter 14 brought me closer to tears than any story I\'ve ever read. And believe me, I\'ve read a lot.. The entire LLPL project has been very special to me. I\'ve loved it from the very beginning and am sad to see it end, but it has made me so happy, and filled so many of my nights, that I can\'t stay sad. Whatever compels you to write, I thank it, because it has been a gift to me. Thank you, and please keep writing. Always.

Yours,
Stephanie

I knew from other reviews that this story would end tragically. I normally avoid them, feeling that real life is full of enough tragedy without seeking it in the world of fiction. However, you have been praised as a very skilled and talented writer, so I decided to give it a try. Your fans were not exaggerating. Your talent for writing is phenomenal. I am in awe. And while the epilogues left me with a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, they were true to life in their displays of emotion, regret, anger and grief.

Despite my personal preferences, this is a marvelous fic, on the the best I\'ve ever read, and several cuts above the usual miasma of crap that normally plagues fandom.

How deliciously depressing! Heartwrenching! I love an occasional good healthy dose of angst, and your is one of the best I\'ve read.
I must admit didn\'t like you killing Snape off. I felt so sorry for him. He had such an unhappy life that I wanted to see him in a happy-ever-after to whatever degree possible for him. At least to have some peace and recognition at the end.
I hope you create more Snape fics, more Snape alternative universes to explore his complex, cruel, yet compelling personality. For one, you write the best Snape I\'ve read, merging beautifully with canon. For another, I\'d like to see, in your words while writing Secretly Slytherin, Snape get laid, as often as possible ;~D
I do however disagree with your prediction about book 7. I don\'t think he\'ll die. I think either Harry or Ron might. (Remember Trelawney\'s asking them who got up first from the table in book 3 POA?) JKR was asked in an interview whether Snape would fall in love. She replied, incredulously, \"who would want him ive wve with them\"? (hehehe she seriously needs to pay a visit to WIKTT). Apparently he\'s modeled after a former teacher of hers she couldn\'t stand, as well as being a general archetype of the abusive bullying schoolteacher with power over children. JKR said that in her visits to schools, she can always spot that type. Then JKR admitted she was taken aback by the question, and that we\'ll find out why,\"wait till book 7\". So yes, I think Snape will fall in love. I think JKR may give us a Little Women ending, with a main character ending up with the older teacher. I think it might be Hermione or Fleur. Speaking of which, a vain, critical, spoiled, unnaturally beautiful Fleur, used to men salivating all over her, paired up with a delicious malicious controlling cunning sadistic Snape with his greasy git hook nosed sallow skinned appearance, resistant to feminine manipulation, both of them extremely temperamental, would make for a hilarious comedy along the lines of Taming of the Shrew, if you should ever choose to write one. He could be furious yet intrigued by her attempts to use her whiles on him. She could be stunned yet aroused to finally meet a man she can\'t control and who doesn\'t place her on some pedestal. Think of the insults they could lobby back and forth! Think of the possibilities for lemony battles! I like your angst and drama, but your erotic comedy is equally good. If you\'re at a loss for ideas you can use this one HINT HINT ;~D purty please?

This is a wonderful, wonderful story, and I\'m actually quite satisfied with EVERY aspect of it- indeed a rarity. I do hope that you will consider the idea of writing about Orlando, since he seems like a character with endless possibilities. You are an undoubtedly talented writer, with a captivating style and an amazing understanding of human nature which has come out in your work with lovely results. I\'m really quite awed by this piece of writing. Well Done. Very, very well done indeed.

Goddess!!! I dont think I\'ve cried so much in one single fic. I could barely read her speech to Severus\'s grave through the tears I was shedding. It was so sad. I loved this whole story but this last part...absolutely breathtaking...Now...If only I can QUIT crying...sheesh...anyway...I look forward to more of your stories...if they are ANYTHING like this one.
