You have twice used \"picaresque\" as a noun, when it is an adjective. I am not sure of the meaning you are trying to convey: portrait, perhaps? I feel that English is not your first language, based on this.

That was perfectly romantic--have no fears! An excellent chapter and first kiss.

Enjoying this story as much as its predeceasor, but I must point out that it is \"free rein\" as in horses, not \"free reign\" as in kingship. Other than that, its just perfect.

Just another note about homonyms:
Discrete means in separate, individual pieces
Discreet means in an unobservable or not-calling attention manner.
A very common error, but maddening.

[Chapter 38-Changing perspectives]
Little kids are just soooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute. Especially when their name is Katrina. In Germany we have a saying: \"Kindermund tut Wahrheit kund.\" It means that children often say the truth, even if it sometimes makes people uncomfortable. I think the English version is \"Out of the mouth of babes\". Anyway, this chapter reminded me of this. When she told him that \'pologizing means to say you\'re sorry, I howled with laughter. I think any Gryffindor would give a lot of money to have heard THAT!
Anyway, the next chapter is calling me. I hope he follows her advice.

Help! I just finished reading chapter 40 and well, there is no next one posted. Why oh why do I have to wait now? Well, at least I was told you update very often. How many chapters are there going to be anyway? It still looks to me as though there are still a million questions to answer.
Anyway, about this chapter. I loved that part at the end. I think if Harry continues like this, Severus might be forced to consider him an Honorary Slytherin one day as well.
I hope Severus and Harry won\'t kill each other.
And of course that Sev (don\'t let him kill me) and Rowena get together and that they adopt Katrina... Well, I guess you realize that I\'m hoping for a fairy tale ending.
Oh, and could you send me an e-mail when the next chapter is up? That way I won\'t have to check this page everyday. Though I suspect I will still check it like every second day.

The end to this chapter was soooooooooooo sweeeeeeeeet! I nearly cried!
Anyway, I though that idea with Dumbledore and the boxes was really wonderful, too!
So well, now I will continue reading.

Well, now I have read the first 12 chapters of your story and I thought I just drop a couple of lines.
I read your post on reviewing at glassreflect. That was very good work, too. I only found this story because you had linked it there. (By the way, I usually review after reading all of the story that is posted at the time, and then after every chapter that gets updated. I think it\'s kind of stupid to wait for the author to finish the whole story, as he or she is less likely to finish it, if there are no reviews.)
Anyway, about this story. It just great! I love your characterizations. Somehow you manage to make Severus believeable unpleasant, nasty and yet loveable. It\'s very well done indeed. Also I like Rowena and Katrina. Somehow I\'m hoping for the two of them to get married and adopt the little one. That would be too wonderful, and I guess a little fluffy as well, like some kind of fairy tale.
Is the story already finished?
Well, I\'ll continue reading on tomorrow. It\'s half past twelve at night in germany right now.

I\'ve just read your \'essay\' about reviews, and you are so right .I must admit I don,t always leave a review, because I find it sometimes quite hard to find the right words to say.And just leaving a \'great story,I really enjoyed it \'seems so short and abrupt. Now I\'ve read your E-mail about reviews I will endeaver to do so more often.
Please don\'t think your writing sucks, I think your writing is wonderful. I don\'t usually read WIP\'s because I don\'t like to be dissappointed when the story has been abandoned . Your updates have been regular and I find great pleasure when I go to my PC and find a message that LSF has been updated. My husband must think I\'m quite nuts. I truly wish I could write like you do! Please continue to write stories like LSF .I\'m always looking forward to the next chapter.
LOL Ann.
