Howdy!
First off, let me tell you how much I enjoyed your story. It was wonderful! Amazing! Brilliant!
Ok, now for the more in-depth review. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first when I read the summary. Harry Potter stuff usually squicks me (they\'re kids!), I didn\'t think I was into Snape, and I usually don\'t like original characters. That said, the fact that it was 50+ chapters made me think that you probably put a lot of heart and soul into this tale, and so I gave it a whirl. Was I right! I think you have single-handedly converted me into a Snape-lover.
I enjoyed all the characterization - in my opinion, you managed to keep the characters canon while still exploring your own vision (and that\'s a hard feat to pull off!). I liked Rowena, and was grateful that she wasn\'t a Mary Sue; she seemed very realistic within the Harry Potter world. I got a kick out of viewing Harry Potter himself through the eyes of Rowena and Snape, as well as viewing the relationship between Snape and Dumbledore in a more father-son light. As for Snape himself, well... he was very enjoyable! Snarky, sarcastic, witty, angsty, and yet very loving and passionate. It was so interesting for me to explore this character! And, as a Texan myself, Howard was fun to read as well.
The plot was well thought-out and complex. It wasn\'t sappy, or overly dramatic, or fluffy - it was just right. Good pace, good twists, realistic resolution. Voldemort a muggle - HAH! My favorite chapters were \"The Malfoy\'s Summer Fete\" and \"Secret Oaths and Commitments.\" What can I say, I\'m a sappy romantic. I liked the idea of a Bond between Rowena and Severus, and I really liked the fact that you made it into an important plot point, and did not have it just as something sappy for the lovers. I also enjoyed the smut, too - hooray for lemon moments!
All in all, this has been one of my most favorite pieces of fanfiction. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with the world! I\'m looking forward to your next work.

This is an amazing story, Snape\'s character is stunning, in the last 4 chapters he is one of the most masculine , and matured Snapes of the fanfic-world. In the JKR HP Snape screams, he is in a tantrum sometimes, which I find very out-of-character. Your Snape is much more manful. JKR should read your fic to learn writing and style.
I did not like so much the song-parts though, but even with them your novel was absolutely one of the best Snape-love-fics. The sex-descriptions were very classy. The Snape-Remus Lupin friendship was also one of my favourites, because you are the first who could make them friends without making Snape out of character. Little Engelchen was so sweet.
Young mr. Sirius Lupin has the Dark Lord\'s eyes?... May I hope for a continue? :) Please? Please?
Oh, and my favourite chapter... when Snape kills that young Deatheater woman in Malfoy manor... that is. Simply perfect. He is a professional murderer, a Deatheater, the Spy, the Hero, the Only Severus Snape.
Congratulations.

LOVED this story! I left feedback after reading about half, and now that I\'ve finished, I have to leave more! This was wonderfully told, very imaginative and with lots of intrigue, danger and suspense. Thank you so much for the sweet, happy ending! A truly enjoyable fic that I will happily recommend to friends. Again, many thanks for hours of reading pleasure!

Chapter 53
OMG!!!!!! I can\'t believe it! You are brilliant! BRILLIANT! Turning Lord Voldemort into a Muggle! I never read a fic with that happening before. Though you know, I think it is THE perfect punishment for him. They should let him live for a while. Anyway, I still have the last few chapters to read.

Ahh...I\'m boneless and sated. Thank you for such a great story and thank you for finishing before HBP! I can\'t wait to start at the beginning and read through it again to completion. Then I might have something more articulate to say. Congratulations! Best regards, Sally

It four minutes after midnight and I finally managed to finish your story. Less than 24 hours before HBP.
Anyway, your story is one of the best I have read so far. I am still completely awed at the idea of turning Voldemort in a Muggle. It\'s just perfect. And the end was like a perfect fairy tale.
I especially liked that one line at the end of the Honeymoon chapter: \'They both enjoyed desert.\' or something like that. That line somehow told a lot more than four words usually do.
