This was very well done, very haunting, very moving. You commatedated both the \"mother bear\" instinct that led Hermione to this, and the transformation from her very idealistic cannon character to a more cynical outlook (with hopes that her child will have a better future) very well. I also liked Lucius and Hermione\'s acknowledgement of each other as people who had both suffered losses, and not as \"this side/that side.\"
