Great story. Had me crying at the end. It was wonderfully written and kept me drawn to it, Yes it took me all day to read it and I look forwards to reading more stories by you.

I am wary of reading long fan fics... I find that most bore me as the authors often do not have the discipline to keep the pace of a long story as they can a short story, so I initially only read the epilogue. What I read made me cry and I just had to go to the beginning of the story and read the entire thing. You are truly a gifted writer, you can make the reader care about your characters, even if some are borrowed! I am going to have to read more of your work now!!! The poem was a beutiful thing, that is what convinced me to read your entire story.

Wow!

I\'ve been working on my novel for the last few weeks and hadn\'t been reading any fics. Yours was the first I reread and finished.

It was a wonderful story! You are a gifted writer indeed and I enjoy your work.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem, it brought tears to my eyes and I cried even harder when I read it was written by you for your brother. Please accept my most sincere condolences and prayers for peace and future happiness for you and yours.

Live long and prosper!

The poem was beautiful. So sad and full of emotion. A fitting end to a wonderful story. Thank you for taking the time to write it.

You made me cry! I have enjoyed the story, and the poem was perfect. I have had some threads like that in my life. My grandparents, my parents, an older sister, and a close family friend. I would like to copy the poem for my own collection. It is beautiful.

I followed this story from the very first and waited with baited breath for the Epilogue. My very favourtie part of the Epilogue was the butterflies. In Aztec lore (ah, love researching my ancestors, bloody as they were!), the butterflies were the souls of the dead, returned to visit the living. So, even with their nastly, bloody history, the Buterfly was one of the most revered creatures of the Aztecs. Don\'t know if that\'s what you intended, but it fit beautifully.
