Again -- What an excet , t , well-written story! I am so glad I\'ve been able to read along, and so very glad you have already finished it. It\'s tightly constructed, and well plotted, and the characterization is very satisfying.

They embraced!!

I\'ve just spent the better part of several hours reading your story, it\'s a wonderful murder mystery. You\'ve beautifully extrapolated the canon characters to logical points in your journey. They are believable, and real and very sympathetic. I\'m enjoying it immensely. There\'s only one small problem... it\'s not comletely posted yet. Sniff, sniff, sob.

Oh..my gosh...you said it was someone the victims knew...not someone we would know!!!!!!!! I can\'t believe this! That was a dirty, rotten trick.

I\'ve been rereading this a bit - there\'s something odd about Ron\'s desk being undisturbed, then? Almost as if Fionn\'s place is Unplottable, or rigged with Time-Turners, or something ...

Hmph. Maybe it\'s just because of a line that caught at my brain. Did you mean to reference \"The Usual Suspects\" with \"You really are a slob ... you know that?\" If I remember correctly, the reply in the movie is: \"Yeah, but you just gotta sit back and look at the whole thing - it all fits together ...\" And then - BAM! - the Patented Usual Suspect 180-degree plot twist. Something makes me thinat yat you probably like that movie ... :)

Yeah, there\'s definitely something fishy about the behavior of both Dumbledore and Snape in this chapter. What does Snape know that D. doesn\'t Hermione to know? Why did Snape recoil at Hermione\'s question? You\'d think that with years of therapy, the question would have come up before. I smell a conspiracy.

Wa-a-a-a-ait a second. Aberforth sent Albus a Howler when Severus was in school ... One would assume that \"goat\" refers to how Aberforth got in trouble. But I have a suspicion ... a sneaking suspicion. I\'ll bet that Dumbledore\'s mother left Albertina and descendants a big chunk of money. Only descendant living is Snape. Dumbledore is sure to become his guardian and *keeps him in the dark*, thus keeping all the cheddar when it eventually comeveruverus\' way. That would be enough to piss off even the looniest of brothers, wouldn\'t it?

Or am I reading too much into this?
