Just have to say that storyline aside, this is a very apt and touching (though painful) look at severe depression. You\'ve managed to capture the apathy and almost-nostalgia well. I can\'t say it\'s easy for me to read, being a depressive, but is sure as hell is accurate.

Good chapter. I like getting Ron\'s perspective, and I like his musings - he\'s grown up, I can tell. You seem to have kept him well in character - I can see him thinking and acting just this way. Poor Nicholas, though. I\'m glad he\'s talking now, at least....

I\'ve been following this daily, and it is quickly becoming my favorite. Where to start? I love the slow revelation of mysteries, both concrete (how did Harry die?) and those more quiet and personal. Ron\'s character is stunningly well drawn here. His memory of Snape and feeling of fraternity with him was a nice touch. I also like that Ron does not get along with Harry\'s son - it struck me as quite believable somehow. The writing here is also just darn good. Generally I find it difficult to turn off my inner editor when I read fanfic, but it is happily dormant as I read this. THere are no missteps, just a very human story told with quiet poetry. I can\'t thank you enough. It is nice to have a little slice of this story to look forward to each day.

I really liked that exchange. I love it that Hermione got Severus talking again. (Was there any doubt?) And you were perfectly right to keep the SOTL line in! ;)

Oh. My.
Remembering to breathe now. This is just wonderful - I so love it when I don\'t have a clue what\'s going to happen next. Brilliant. Thank you!

Is there such a word as \'classy\'? This is it surely. You write so well. I feel utterly mystified, but totally content to wait day by day for your updates. Ah the joy of already completed fanfics! Great stuff.

NOOOOOOOOOO.....they CUT HIS HAIR..........now we KNOW something\'s dreadfully wrong. I am very interested in Hermione\'s next visit(s)! I like it that she didn\'t talk, just sat with him. Not what I would have expected from her, but she seems to have changed due to whatever took her away from the wizarding world .... another mystery I want to know more about! ;)
