Severus is the snake in Nicholas\'s dream (from his dad\'s memory) and Dumbledore is still my pick for the dragon. The cage is all the lies and plots he weaved around both Harry and Severus for so long. Its too latr Her Hermoine to save Harry, but all those lies are coming back to haunt everyone. Doubt the killer is Dumbledore, he\'s just the megalomaniac that set the whole thing in motion. Starting to think the wildcard deck is Neville --- red herring or killer???? Obliviously Dumbledore was trying to rattle Severus and/or under Her Hermine\'s place by seeing if hn man make Serverus jealous. Question is why on two counts --- to what end? and why does he think he would be jealous? Rattles him and then gives him something he wants so much, the paper (punish and reward so he further undermines Hermione?). Ah, the plot thickens!!! Love this story!!!! Still hope the snake ends up in her arms so to speak!!! :)

More intrigue! And Hermione\'s such a delightful clever-clogs, isnt she?
Well, hay, I\'m absolutely sucked in...and I take that back about
believing Hermione killed Harry. Not that I was serious, you understand...
I look forward to tomorrow\'s update. Delicious!

Someone has probably said this before but Cuthrell disturbs me...it\'s probably farfetched but maybe he has something to do with Harry\'s death? I\'m still loving this story, lovely writing and I really like the pacing of this story. And the fact that it\'s updated every day is a plus :)

I only just realized exactly who was writing this story - I had been about to say I was a fan of the story, now I\'ll say I\'ma fan of your work. Your characterizations are consistent and believable, your plots are unusual and always interesting. I can\'t wait to see what happens next, though please don\'t rush and bungle things on a reviewer\'s account. Just please don\'t abandon the story!

I\'m probably way off....but my gut tells me that Ron has more to do with this then he leads on....I think he was involved somehow.

Who killed the boy who didn\'t live... Is there a poll? Well I reckon Hermione killed him, because it\'s just so damn unlikely.
I am really enjoying this story...parlarllarly the way Severus treats himself to small portions of his first newspaper in five years.
Blessings, Kait x

I don\'t think I have reviewed yet --- I needed to read and contemplate in order to form a response. Your writing is excellent, clear and evocative, the characters ring true given the passage of time, and the plot is...unfolding? No, pulling me in as in a labyrinth. I cannot see what is around the next turn, but when I do see it, it seems to be inevitable. There is detail, but not an undergrowth of detail that clogs up the story.
Snape in the asylum is chilling, Hermione\'s story of why she left is heartbreaking, and Ron is likeable and admirable and I wonder what I haven\'t noticed abotu him yet.
Thank you for writing this. I won\'t review every chapter, but I will surely be reading them.

nitpick: James Potter wasn\'t a prefect. So far e cae can tell, there\'s a girl and a boy from each year, and Lupin was the prefect--made so in an attempt to exert some control over James and Sirius. Takes some of the punch out of it, though, don\'t it? Pesky, pesky canon...

ok hun, full on tears are falling right now. that is so...beautifully dark. and so truthful! why is it i see so much of myself in Hermione? i wonder if all of us see something of ourselves in her, or the boys. i loved the explination of why she left, the talk with Albus was good, and i really enjoy the little bits of Reality you add, like the details about the tea, ahe che chair, all of it really. thanks so much for posting. wish i could read it all now, but i understand your wanting to post it like this. :)

I started reading this story tonight, not really sure what to expect. It had me bawling my eyes out for the most part of the first four chapters. Really. Bawling. My. Eyes. Out. The imagery in the story. The story itself. Mind blowing. All the while, I was trying to think of who could have killed Harry. And the Aurors. And the Auror\'s families. Who killed them? His wife? His son? His daughter? Petunia? Dudley? Draco? Ron? Surely not Hermione ... Dumbledore? There are so many clues, and yet I\'m no closer to finding out who it is.
I\'m also glad that you\'re posting one chapter at a time, because I just spent the past few hours reading up to this point, and I need to be up for work in about 7 or 8 hours. (if all the chapters had been posted, I wobe sbe staying up to finish reading it, I can assure you of that!)
But just. Wow. The whole story idea. I can invision it in my head. Everything. I can imagine Snape and Hermione havnig their conversations. I can imagine the Ron and Hermione\'s bickering. I can hear them. I can see what\'s happening. the imagery. ...
You are an awesome author.
