I think Severus should get the girl in the end. His desires for Hermione are less dubious than Lucius\'. Lucius certainly has sex appeal on his side, but I think Snape could present himself with a degree of sincerity that would remove any doubom Hom Hermione\'s mind that Severus is the wizard for her.

I loved the quiet conversation between Severus and Hermione in this chapter (8). If you could in the future, please write another one. I like the \"getting to know you\" stuff.

Yes! Update please! I really want to see where you are going with this. And truly I was getting a little upset with how much Hermione was getting played by Lucius and how Snape really wasn\'t doing much. Now is Snape\'s time to shine! And thank you very much for the informative Author\'s Note at the beginning of the chapter. It really cleared up what you are trying to accomplish. I can\'t wait for the next chapter. Keep it up!
