I do think everyone is reading way too much into this story. However, most people do not spank children on their bare bottoms. Also, i think that the story would be better served by finding alternative methods to disciplining a child. On the layout side, try to use more whitespace, espeically when using dialouge.

Its kinda seems to me like your reading a little to much into it....I didn\'t find it as if the author was trying to do something kinky....but maybe I\'m just really naive and don\'t read enough into it...I thought all in all it a goa good plot idea but if you find something wrong with then its good for you to express your concern.
