It was dark, and I usually stay away from that, but as a oneshot it was quite wonderful. Keep up the great work.

Still one of the all-time great DM/HG fics. Someone was looking for it today, and I decided to re-read. I remember the impact this fic had the first time I read it, rather like the movie the sixth sense, where you immediately have to go back to watch (or in this case, read) the whole thing over again, because everything you thought was happening turned out to be something else, entirely and you (or at least I) needed to go over it again now knowing what was *really* happening. Very writerly piece of fiction, a pleasure (or a thrilling terror) to read, and a permanent favorite. Wherever you are now, and whatever new fandom, interests, or career you now have, I hope writing fiction of some sort is still part of your life, because you really are good at it.

Intense is a great word for this. Draco is so deliciously dark. Wonderful job!
