I love this story harry is so hurt but sooo very cute and snape kind of hurt so manly........u can tell he loves harry alot.......i hope every thung works it self out in the end

This is a wonderful story. I was wondering if you were ever going to finish it? If you have no plans to finish it, I guess I will try to...forget it. I am begging you, please finish this story. It is such a good story that it would be a waste not to finish it. Please let those of us who want to know, wether or not you are going to finish. Pleasepleaseplease.

VERY good. I\'m truly enjoying this. Just for information, in case you don\'t know it already, the human body can go three minutes without air, three days without water, and three weeks without food. Just for info; I got it from CSI. Very good fic!

Aaaw I just love the story so far!!! Especially since it\'s AU and it has nothing related to magic or Moldywart. =) I think the characters are very well written, so is the plot, and though Harry\'s abuse is just sick you\'ve potrayed Harry\'s character well and how he copes/tries to cope with it. Most of all, Severus as one of the most complex characters to write is just *wow* I can\'t explain with words, but you\'re doing an exellent job. I really, really REALLY hope that you will update sometime in the near future!!! Can we hope for that? :)

I\'ll admit to needing a fix and read your fic for the 4th time! I absolutely am looking forward to the next chapters in this. I love all the buildup to the time for the Dursley\'s trial. This story just draws the reader in and makes them believe that this is what is happening. Damn if I haven\'t gone and started caring for the characters! Even if this never gets finished, I am going to believe that everything comes out well for Harry and Severus in the end! **goes back to corner and waits patiently for more**

Listen, I have been reading stories on this site for the past two years or so. I have never, ever, evereverever, reviewed anything. ever. This story though, remains my favorite story that I have ever read on this site. I have already read this fic straight through about... 8 or so times, and I\'m just now sitting down to read it again. I know that you may be sick of hearing people beg for updates on this story, but understand. This is a really brilliant story, and I\'m dying to know how it all ends up. I love the chemistry between Sev and Harry, and it really seems like you\'re very in tune with them.
*sigh* In the end it\'s obviously up to you. As the author you of course have the write to discontinue any story you like. I ask you though: if you simply can\'t write anymore for this story, please post a note saying why you\'ve stopped writing this. As much as I love your new stories (Crossing the Line, A Change For the Better, ext.), every time I see your name I wonder why you never finished this story. I wondered if maybe it went in a different direction than you wanted, or if you lost all of your pre-written chapters and lost heart of ever re-writing them, or if you and In-the-Shadows had a falling out, or if you were just bored. In any case, I ask to hear from you. Not just for me, but for everyone of your faithful reviewers. This is the kind of story where you never skip ahead to read the \'good parts\' (i.e. sex scenes) And do you know why no one does that? Aside from the fact that there are no sex scenes, it\'s simply too good to skip over. I really hope that if nothing else, you at least read this review and feel a little warm fuzzy knowing that you wrote something as interesting as this. I thank you for all of your writing, and hope to hear from you again someday.

I read a /lot/ of slash and this is a unique take for these characters. The characters are engaging and the plot was going along so well... I join my voice with the others in asking when another chapter will be coming from you? People are still reading and asking for more a /year/ since the last chapter. *hint hint* Good stuff. Must have more.

Are you ever going to update this fiction? I really like it and would love to continue to read it. Your work is fascinating and well thought out, please update it soon it\'s been almost a year.
