Wow, I just completed reading this entire fic and just wow. The idea for the story was great to start off with but the ending, my God was it great. I wish they could somehow have made it worked in the present time, but the ending you have is fairly perfect I must admit. Just so angsty and wonderful. Alright I must stop gushing, but really. Great job, I\'ll say it one more time, your story was amazing.

Yes, very bittersweet. ANd what I mean by a \"downer\" is a sad or depressing ending. Would you consider a sequel...say ten years in the future? When Hermione is much more mature and the war is over, Severus has had time to \"decompress\" (get over and recover) from his double agent situation. I think that would be a good story in which to write about their relationship and include tons of lemons. Overall, I really liked the story and would have loved it if it was even a bit longer, but having written a few fics myself, sometimes you just have to jsut stop and post what you have.

NO!!!!! You can\'t end it here!!! How about just a short teeny (romantic) epilogue?? The young boy she met in the past is still insthe the man of the present. He\'s been waiting 23 years to see her again at this age -- isn\'t there more?? PLEEEEAZE!!!

there are a few fics that make me feel sad when they end, as loosing a compamion. \"Thank you Miss Granger\" is one of them.

You know what? I like that you didn\'t have the present-day versions of HG/SS falling all over themselves and continuing with their passion. That would have been cliched and unrealistic. This way was much, much better. Very poignant and very nicely written. Congrats on your first attempt at fanfic (if I understand correctly). Well done!
