the ending was flat. it reveals nothing. is hermione truly revolted by the age of the boy she apparently cared so much for? Disappointed at the close.

Just wanted to quickly say I simply love this. Young Severus is heartbreaking. I don't know when you wrote this as I'm new to this site and didn't see a date on the story, but it seems you picked up on JKR's eventual revelation about Snape's abusive father WAY ahead of time. Kudos to you! And thanks for the sweet story. (I wish they'd had more adventures!)

oh and just to add, i hope you write something like this or a part 2 it, then again its good as it is. But you really, you got me feeling for him, i wish i could just give snape a big hug right now.

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by your handling of Snape\'s attitude in this story. Even as you portrayed him as a child you kept in mind our beloved older Snape. You pinned it to a tee, in my mind. Lovely story, well written. Kept me hooked the whole time. I would love to see a sequel, but perhaps the bittersweet ending stands perfectly on it\'s own. Wherever your muse takes you, I will most undoubtledly read.

Anyway, this story has a different feel...prolly because of the fact I haven\'t seen the \'back in time\' story done at this angle, has me anticipating what\'s next.
