What an intriguing premise! I like the combination of Lucius and the mature Hermione. And the Hope diamond! That is a romantic object and no mistake! This story promises to be truly delightful!

I love your characterization of Lucius, very much looking forward to reading more.

YAYAYA Another story! I\'m glad you\'re back to writing. This one looks like a great start. I can\'t wait to see where it goes. I am enjoying seeing Hermione live between two cultures and doing something other than potions research! Thanks ever so much for the cliffhanger, too. Really.

WOOT! I\'m thrilled to read another one of your stories! And this one is soooo promising! It\'s very original and that\'s saying something, considering I\'ve probably read hundreds of fanfics, hehehe. I look forward to reading more . . .

An excellent start and one full of intrigue, suspense and curiousity for how this story will unfold.

I like the idea of Hermione no longer feeling challenged by her study, but seeking to involve herself in something more meaningful such as her curse breaking activities. It\'s a well thought out progression and a sign that Hermione has grown out of her bookish need to devour texts like a mid-morning snack.

The temptation to Incendio the letter from Lucius Malfoy is a very human trait and along with the nightmare of the past, one that asks a great number of questions.

I do like the warm familiarity of the letter to her parents. It\'s full of the odd little bits of extra news that create a whole world all on their own, and the parallel of not wanting a dry conversation via the telephone makes me wonder just what sort of bad news Hermione has received by that medium.

I\'ll be looking forward to watching this tale unfold and if it\'s as long and as good as Soul Searching was, then I\'ll be very happy indeed.

I did review Soul Searching many moons ago under a different name. It\'s a long story, but I must go and do so again under this tag.
