I love that you\'re building Ron as an intelligent, humane, NICE young man. I stop work every single day at about 11:30 - 12:00 to read your latest chapter, thanks so much for keeping up with this.

I\'m so glad you had Ron make the first overture, since Snape wouldn\'t have. (\"Obviously.\") It\'s continually refreshing how you\'ve taken the best parts of the redhead in canon -- the fact that he\'s stubborn, loyal, funny and clearly not a complete idiot if he can beat everyone at chess -- and shown him in his best light. He\'s already looking better in Order of the Phoenix, so I could easily see him filling these more mature shoes as a seventh year. And anyway, if we\'re determined to see more in Snape than JKR\'s shown us yet, why not give Ron the benefit of the doubt?

Such a sad but realistic interaction between Snape and Hermione. She noticed he was upset -- OK, upset in an unusual way -- so that has to count for something. It seems fitting that she saw him before she saw Harry.

Only Snape could make neutral tones sound painful. He\'s never neutral, is he?

I know you\'ll find a way to make it all work out, but still my heart is breaking for poor Severus. You\'ve got to feel kind of sorry for poor old regular boring Harry, though. He\'s g to to be pretty hurt when he finds out how vastly superior the \"other\" Harry was! Oh, yes...and what, exactly is \"WITKK\"?...You said you send updates to it, so I\'m interested. Great job again!

Aw, poor Severus. I can foresee he will be grimly miserable for a while as he tries to put Hermione out of his mind.

I do like the line \'He was quietly brave and silently dangerous\' - that really sums him up.

Oh Ron the couple maker. funny, and efective.
I always feel that \"yerk\" Ron was an unfair characterization in fanon. The boy could be cluelees at age thirteen but you cant expect to remain the same four years later. good for you.

I\'ve only recently gotten into this and must say it is a damn fine fic! Very interesting, and a pleasant read. I admit Ron and Snape accepting each other and even becoming friends seemed unlikely, but you\'ve made it believable. Now, I must comment on one thing, from way back in chapter 2:

**The adults discussed some new laws the Ministry was proposing -- something mind-numbingly dull about property rights...**

Could it be possible that that line is forshadowing the fact that this might turn into a Marriage Law fic as well?? Maybe it could\'ve been referring to marital property? Or maybe you could do a Marriage Law fic as a sequel to this?? (hint, hint)

You\'ve just made me love Ron in this fic. Okay - I always love Ron, but you\'ve made him especially likeable. I adore that you\'re showing his conniving side and I can\'t wait to see how it plays out.

Go Ron! I like how you didn\'t make Ron the bad guy. He\'s very intelligent and perceptive. I like how he figured out that Severus was inhabiting Harry\'s body when no one else besides some staff members knew. I really like the friendship between the two of them. I can\'t wait to see his strategy on how he is going to get Severus and Hermione together.
