That was such a sad and thoughtful chapter. I think it was entirely necessary for you to have a bit of distance. They really all need to think and heal a bit. I promise, no veiled threats while I am searching for lemons...or dessert. LOL.

I\'ve been here for every chapter thought I\'ve not consistantly reviewed all. I think that the emotional responses to the last battle in this story are some of the best I\'ve read in fandom. Voldemort\'s deat doesn\'t make life suddenly \"happily ever after\" for everyone. Thanks for making them have realistic reactions!

Chapter 40... This chapter brought me smiles, chill bumps & tears!!! Harry, Hermione & Ron have all grown up, more kly kly than they should have been forced to!!! The chills came from the way you wrote Hermione\'s thoughts on the battle & on her feelings for Severus, WONDERFUL way that you wrote it all!!! I also like the realization that Severus came to about the muggle borns!!!

I LOVE Severus & his worrying about Hermione!!! I hope that Harry can find someone that he can be happy with, too bad it\'s not Ginny!!! I also hope that Ron wins his battle to have Lav back as more than a friend!!!

I look forward to the next chapter of your AMAZING story!!! Til chapter 41, Deb >^..^<

This was a sad and wistful and lovely chapter. Loved Harry outing Severus and his undercover role in the war - it was fun to read his reacti The The conversation between Hermione and her parents was written beautifully.

Very nice chapter. I particularly like the tidbits between Hermione and her mother and the older Granger female recognizing the passage of her daughter from a child to a woman, but not enough to conclude the presence of Severus yet. About the other partnership, Harry-Ginny and Ron-Lavender..ll, ll, it\'s alright, they are after all still growing up.

*chuckles while re-reading the A/N and can\'t help commenting* About the lemonsll, ll, honestly you should be proud of yourself, you who writes SS/HG ship I\'ve read so far who haven\'t written anything sexual in any chapter... crying out loud, it\'s chapter 40 already and no lemons, and still we read it and hungers for more... that just have to account for something big IMHO ^^; Do I really have to say more? ;)

*grins* You\'re finding it hard to end it, so in essence it\'s like the character are in control... mmm.. Ever head of Sir Conan Doyle...? oh yes, Sherlock Holmes\' author who tried to end the character by killing him... and was forced by the masses to revivm anm and tell a believable story on how Holmes survived. But really it\'s your fault, you\'ve written your characters so well... not that I\'m complaining. And many people seemed to like this fic, even without the lemons... but really lemons would be nice... Think Hermione has been thoroughly frustrated enough? *winks* Thanks for the wondering 3 chapters after the Final Battle though, I really thought you were done with it, and was slightly dejected.

And again, my compliments tur bur beta *grins*

Us - threaten you?!
Never. (putting whips and chains away - whistling queitly)
We would never threaten you. (smirking - fondling thumbscrew and boot)
I mean there are so many other ways to keep you writing.
We would never so harmful things (at least anything that was permanent)
That bit about the carrot and the stick is just a cliche. (sticks are so...passe and un-modern)

The scene between Hermione and her mother was very vivid...when you think about the battle, they don\'t seem like teenagers, but they were, all the same. It\'s like leading the students from a high school into battle...Loved the chapter, looking forward to more.

I could never be a beta: I can\'t spell worth lima beans. So I cannot comment on spelling, punctuation or grammer.

That said, I enjoyed reading this story. I started with 12 unfinishalesales on my reading list. This one, your Sub Rosa sequel, and Azriel\'s Objects of Desire are the only three that remain. No the other nine still are not finished, but they did not hold my interest, so they have been erased from my favorites list.

Have you done any art work for this story? I would enjoy your view of \"Snape aoot\oot\". Charlie on a dragon would be nice. The \"Charge of the Hufflepuffs\" and \"The Cats\" would also be fun to see. o.k., I admit, I\'m greedy. You probably have your hands full with writing fan fiction, fighting for unemployment benefits, job hunting, and doing any paying commercial work that comes your way Still, if you could maybe slide in some art work:)
:)

Thank-you for a story well written.
