Well, we can\'t have your fingers falling off, now can we? It sounds rather painful and counterproductive to any writing you wish to get done. I hope to see another chapter soon, but I also hope to become president or foreign diplomat to Russia as soon as I am out of college. Some things just don\'t happen. :)
I enjoyed the chapter very much...Kathryn\'sire ire for the quiet evening at the Malfoy\'s was quite humorous. Much like how I dress when I go to visit my mother\'s side of the family...hm...
Okay...any how...thanks for the chapter! And if your fingers do fall off, remember...duct tape can fix anything. I\'ll send you some.
Tschus! (translation: Bye!)

Gosh, will our lovely couple end up with two children conceived under duress with Death Eaters? That\'s humorous in a very, very dark way, but I can\'t blame Kathryn for wanting to run like mad from Malfoy. He may look angelic (nice touch, by the way) but he\'s scary as hell. I admit to worrying that Orion is intended to be a bargaining chip -- \"usefulness\" indeed -- but that portkey pacifier should even the playing field.
Interesting that Kathryn, not Snape, thought to ask Draco what specifically had him worried. Not sure what to make of that. Maybe Snape doesn\'t think he needs to rely on anyone else? Or perhaps he\'s just eager to get going so they can get back and have some lemonade. ;-)
Kat\'s outfit made my evening -- what, no JaBondBond exploding pen in her purse? I never thought about the deadly possibilities of jewelry. Every chapter you find some way to make her more interesting.

I wish I knew too...
And I looked at my wardrobe, I think I need a change from all the furryness.
You write great and draw too! As talented as they come...
Question: From what I remember from GoF Narcissa\'s hair was blonde. Did I forget some part where she had it under a spell or something to make the whole family blonde in the fic or was I simply too sleepy and you weren\'t talking of her at the time at all?

It\'s interesting to watch Snape at a meeting when he\'s in the background, unwatched by Voldemort, because he has to put on a different sort of show with Malfoy. (\"See, I am a loyal little servant, watch me dance\" is hysterical.) Slytherin mind games: perfect acting with internal patter contradicting nearly everything said.
As depressing as it is to see Voldemort\'s followers successfully killing and raping, it\'s realistic that Snape can\'t save them all, and in fact can\'t save most. He\'s a spy, not a super hero. (Just got an image of Snan tin tights and a cowl. Mmmmmm.) Still, I\'m glad you\'re showing that he\'s upset whenever he can do nothing but stand aside and watch. Besides his underlying decency, he\'s clearly a man who likes to have control of a situation.

I\'m glad that I\'m not the only one who doesn\'t know where the plotline will lead!
So, Kathryn and Ryan are to meet Lucius...I wonder how that will go over. I do hope that Voldemort will not be present...as interesting as the interaction between Kathryn and the Dark Lord would be. Reading the dialouge between Severus and Lucius was quite delightful, Severus has to stay on guard, but yet seem very sincere with Malfoy. Talk about tightropes. More story soon?

Great chapter! If this was a paperback, I would be up all night for the outcome.
But tomorrow comes soon enough. Something to look foreward to so patience is good.

Filch cracks me up. In fact, there\'s a lot of humor here, as always, despite the somber ne the the storyline has taken, and you\'re weaving the the light and dark elements together so well. (I\'m glad, too, because angsty fics are nearly always improved by a bit of laughter.)
We know how much Kathryn cares for Snape, but the depth of her emotions are clearer here than in any of the earlier chapters -- that feeling that she\'s given something up (not only gained something) to love someone so much. It\'s easier not to be afraid for yourself because you at least have some measure of control over what happens to you. When Snape apparates to Voldemort\'s side, she\'s powerless to help him. (Unless, that is, you\'ve got some story twist yet to come.)
Oh, and I got another thrill reading about Snape\'s knives shooting out his sleeves. Oddly sexy.

Interesting choice of passwords. I just ate one today.
It appears that I am indeed stuck in a realm of E Pluribus Unum...
You have this way of making me feel just as worried because of Severus. I need a blade of his to keep my eye on... Just ine. He.

for hitting a wall you sure seem to have outdone yourself on this chapter. We definitely need to see this side of all the characters more often, especially neville and Draco. ::drool:: Draco....
