I really loved to read this story because it had two of my favorite things: Learning about the World Wars(1,2) and Harry Potter. You should write more of the story, if you do I would definitely sit on the edge of my seat and read it with a mind to absorb it all up.

I would like to share with you my appreciation for this particular fic. I\'m a Filipino and as we all know, the Philippine islands was part of the massive conquest Japan undertook at the time for their so-called Greater East Co-Prosperity Sphere of Influence, plainly for the sole purpose of raw material sources and strategic advantages that the islands had over all of Asia. Many people, both Filipino and Americans, died after the battles of Bataan and Corriegidor in defense, where the infamous Death March began. There were perhaps a few hundred thousand deaths that occured during that march either from starvation, dehydration, sun-stokes or just plain murder by the Japs. Women (and even young men from ages 15 to 20) were all forced to be sexual slaves for soldiers as they took hold of cities in our country. Millions of my countrymen and people of neighbouring countries suffered and died under these treatments. There are no words that could ever be expressed for our sorrow, grief and raging anger for the inconsideration and mistreatment of inocent people. But we can turn this into a lesson in which we can all learn from. We can make better our future with peaceful relations with the countries Germany, Italy, and Japan. At least in this way we can make ammends along with them. Don\'t think that they didn\'t suffer as much as we did (I\'m not going to mention how or why). Probably today many of us still think that these countries have not paid dearly enough for our satisfaction. If we ever think of such things like that, then we are no better than people like Hitler, Mussolini or the Jap leaders that manipulated their people into fighting a senseless cause. We can be better people, and we should be better people. Finally, I would like to say that this particular fic touches one of the most sensitive issues known to man. I for one would not have advised anyone to do it. But, the fact that someone did do it does make me feel greatful that we have not forgotten our past, and that we are all gifted with our sense of freedom in all forms, especially with a writing pen. Thank you...

Oh! I totally forgot! I do urge you to continue with your work. I\'ve read a few others that you did and WOW! That Troubled Love thing...whew. I\'m not even done with the first five chapters of that and here I am complementing and making a speech about what crap is on my mind. Sorry \'bout that. Anyway, it\'s a great piece and I\'d like to see more updates. Don\'t worry about flamers from Jap readers. They\'re not that sadistic nowadays. Sure they\'re the top notcher when it comes to sado-masochistic porn but hey! What more can I say?

This story is *so* wonderful! The way you fit it into that time, the way you fit the characters into it (they are indeed beautiful together!) , the way you write...your whole idea! I love it! Please continue soon! :)

I usually don\'t take to AU stories, and simply decided to read your because of the paring and the historical background. But as soon as I read the first few pragraphs, I was hooked! This is really breathtaking and great insight into the uglier aspects of the war. The only thing to nitpick is the vague use of pronouns and points-of-view. Congrats on creating such novel work though, I hope you\'ll update the next chapter ASAP.

Hey.

Just wanted to say you did a great job (as usual ^_~) although it was a very, very sad chapter. Anyway, please continue! ^_^

Bye, Ivi.

i just wanted to say that your story is incredibly inttingting. i had no idea that things such as you described took place in japan (or even anywhere in the world.) i will definitely be checking for updates. one thing, though, you switch from first person point of view to third person. it makes the story a bit confusing, and i didn\'t know if it was because of artistic liscence or a subconcious quirk-- just wondering. keep up the good work.
