Great story, I just read it for the first time. Hope it\'s not over! Just wanted to note that Filch himself says he\'s a squib in the COS. Nevilles lack of ability in potions doesn\'t make him a borderline squib either... remember he excells in herbology. No mention is made of his skills in other classes, however, he does quite well in the D.A. which would indicate at least a normal level of magical talent. Not that I think any of it has any bearing on your fic. It\'s a great fic, Filch in Gryffindor or not! Thanks for a fun read!

Lovely story - I love your tart-yet-secretly-soppy Severus and your genius-who-laughs-at-the-obey-clause Hermione. The bit about the puzzle pieces was my favorite.

Awwwww...... gods that was aweeet, honest and very true to character. Wow. What a great couple of chapters! I love your writing so very much! Sorry I haven\'t been reading and reviewing as much, my story ate my head for a couple days and I won\'t let myself read anything when I am blocked, too afraid I wiill sub-conciously steal something. :) But I loved his panic attack and Minerva\'s assessment of it and how Hermione responded. It was perfect.

Squibs don\'t receive schooling at Hogwarts. They don\'t have any magical abilities. They are not sorted into houses. They do not have house colors. And, considering how much of a prick he is in the books, Filch sure as hell wouldn\'t be in Gryffindor. <---------- All things this author seems to have overlooked in that last chapter. I would consider revising that chapter if I were you. Otherwise a thoroughly entertaining fic thus far. Please continue.

Do squibs have house colors? Otherwise, I like the jigsaw metaphor very much; Severus is perhaps a wee bit quickly convinced to shelve his fears, but the metaphor\'s quite compelling. Good job not having Hermione change Severus\' manner of dress, too.
