Another excellent chapter. I do adore slightly law breaking Hermione. Seems to be a natural progression from her Hogwarts days. As to the non-slapper options-they have known each other for a while. So she does have a bit of a leg up (no pun intended) I would say that counting the lunch date and the current date, at least one more if not two. After all, she was a bit quick to accept the offer for this one-I cannot see her jumping into it too quickly; a stratagem that would if nothing else, keep Severus\'s devious tendencies (perhaps I should call them his entertaining tendencies?) to the fore.

Not to sound too corny, but this is the sweetest thing you have written. The way they are all twittery and nervous is endearing. And romantic.
I liked how Hermione reacted to the \"bat\" plant. She got the joke.
Can\'t wait for the date. (Did the lunch count as the 1st date?)

Cheap little slapper? I have never heard that one before, obviously I am behind in my Brit Slang. You had me gigling too, though the image of the Severus/Argus/Minerva three-some may scar me for life.

Good question. How many dates would it take to put the obsidian eyed git at the end of his rope?

*still giggling* I really like Severus getting dating advice from Minerva and Pomona - a pair who seem to have their acid wit permanently set to kill on sight. ;-) The characterisation stays true with just enough of a twist to keep it more than interesting.

As for the whole date issue, third date seems good timing.

i love this story, its written so differently to dirty deeds thats its amazing that one person can be so talented, oh what i would have done for your skill during high school :P

Yes, Hermione seems the type to wait til the 3rd date for sex. Some heavy groping would probably be acceptable on the 2nd date. I chaste kiss on the 1st.

Yes, third date\'s probably about right - but then, it depends so much on how things go ... and whether you count the first lunch as a date or not - I can\'t really advise, much as I occasionally channel Hermione, I\'ve never done the dating thing.

It\'s going to be when she feels right about it, and that\'s flat.

But - I think that this Hermione is going to recognise Severus\' nerves and try to be soothing to them to the best of her ability. I think ....
