I thought that you did an amazing job covering a really difficult subject. I read the author note warning about the graphic nature and bias of the pics and didn\'t look. I can\'t believe someone would have the balls to flame you about that when you clearly explained what their options were in viewing or not viewing. It is really sad when bias and ignorance overcome a person\'s ablity to be rational and civil. Please ignore the idiots and update the story. Please. :)

I\'m sorry that I missed the rant, it must have been a doozy. I hope you didn\'t think that *my* review was meant as criticism to you or your story. I have some issues (like most the planet) about the subject and as a non-christian in America, get a little touchy about the people who sermonize others, dictating their moral views. I never thought that you were the one sermonizing, I just recognized the type. I have had to go in for exams at clincs and had to push my way past activists screaming at me about something I wasn\'t even there for. For many poor women the clinics are the only place to get OB/GYN care and those people make it hard for them to even get their check-ups. It\'s criminal to keep people from medical care and their fanaticism causes more harm than good. More importantly, the story reads better now and is both more colingling and truer to Hermione\'s character. I wish there was an older woman Hermione could talk to about this. I am sorry she hasn\'t felt comfortable about talking to her parents.

Kiristeen, I have been enjoying this fic and your other \"Mothers, Witches and Bargains Made.\" I was afraid that you were opening up a can of worms when you got to the abortion stuff. I\'ve not looked at the abortion sites you listed. I have a pretty good idea what I\'d find there. I must say that I am also pro-choice however I can\'t say how I would handle being in Hermione\'s shoes. I have survived a very rough pregnancy and therefore will not be having anymore children. I couldn\'t do that again. But it really doesn\'t matter what you or I or anyone else would do in real life. This is a character in a story. It\'s what she does. I believe the thought process she is having would be perfectly normal. There are plenty of protesters on both sides of the issue that do extreme things. I can\'t imagine having to get past those people. It\'s bad enough that sometimes here I\'ve driven past \"life lines\" of people in front of their church protesting abortion. It bothers me and I\'ve never had an abortion. For people who have had to have them (in a situation like Hermione\'s or for medical reasons) it must be extremely difficult. Abortion seems to be one of those topics that grown-ups don\'t seem to be able to be grown-up about. Anyways, I\'m looking forward to the continuation of your story. Try not to let the cowardly anon flamers get you down. If they can\'t sign it, they must not be too proud of what it says.

I am loving this story. I love the development between Draco and Ron. They are so... I can\'t even describe it without sounding soppy. Oh well. It\'s just great. I think you\'re handling things with Hermione very well. Its not an easy subject to deal with at all. Flamers suck, and the best thing you can do is ignorem. Tm. Though I did manage to get the flames at Astronomy Tower to stop by mentioning them. I was getting really dumb childish ones though... about the choice in pairings. *smacks head* why do they read it if they don\'t like the pairing? Anywho... I\'m eagerly anticipating HG/SS development... but not as much as I am more Ron/Draco development. Cheers!

this isn\'t a flame. for those who are on either side of the issue yes there are many people who are rude and very crude that act as if you have an abortion you\'re an animal and those on the other side view the child as nothing more than a rogue cell like cancer. i found you\'re portrayl of the protesters and her reaction both accurate. i\'m glad you\'re choosing to allow her to go through all the obstcles that pregnancies due to rape have. rape is a horrible and vicious act and i think that you\'ve shown the gambit admirably. regardless of what side you are on the emotional trauma of abortion on the mother is real and valid. the only thing that i could complain about is that women can have abortions till their seventh month, not up to thier fourth month. although their has just been a law passed in the us to outlaw partial birth abortions i don\'t know the statutes in the uk. thank you for this work and i hope that you will continue regardless of the reaction of a few reviewers

I just want to say that I am really enjoying this story. I think you are handling a difficult situation very well and that you are staying true to the character. Don\'t listen to the flames as these people are obviously not following the story properly. I won\'t argue for or against the pictures as I chose not to look at them (I\'m kinda squeamish). Keep going with this story. I think it is well written and am somewhat enthralled. Can\'t wait for the next update. :-)

Actually, I like this version much better, although it is still very hard for me to read. I think though (and this is what my email said - dang yahoo mail is just awful! It never goes through when I really want it to!) that is a sign of really great writing. Just the fact that you could hold my attention like that and make me feel the emotions so strongly is amazing. Very, very well done!

I\'m enjoying this story very much. I\'m sorry some of the reviews of Chapter 23 have been so harsh. I think you\'re doing a marvelous job of showing the conflict Hermione\'s feeling. It would be a miserable choice to have to face, and I salute you for not sugar-coating it into an easy decision, i.e. \"falling in love with the baby\" or a conveniently timed miscarriage eliminating the need for her to decide.
The romance between Draco and Ron is surprisingly believable, and I like how you\'ve shown Harry\'s reaction to what\'s happening.
Looking forward to more,
Ithacus

I think your story would have been a lot better if you\'d had Hermione abort the baby. I am so sick of stories where Hermione is somehow raped and then has the baby and loves it, and everything is perfect. Real life rarely works out that way. If she\'d had the abortion, your story would have been different. And it would have given you different issues to explore. Instead you had to it it a \"pro-life\" aka \"anti-choice\" thing. I am a little disappointed.

It would have been better if you hadn\'t made it a \"pro-life\" aka \"anti-abortion\" thing. Every other story has Hermione raped and pregnant. If you\'d had her go through with the abortion, your\'s would have been different.
