I absolutely love long -- good -- stories, which yours definitely qualifies for on both counts. LOL, but there is one serious drawback to them -- the outrageous number of cliffhangers. : )~

Love all of the interplay in this chapter between the principals -- and the introduction of Viper. That a h a hoot.

Harry is so going to love Dumbledore... But he could make Dumbledore\'s life difficult in the castle, couldn\'t he? If the castle just happened to change stairways and corridors inconviniently... Or does it recognise all heirs - Harry was supposed to be Gryffindor\'s, after all? Are the wards the deciding factor? ...Is there any other (nasty) surprises for Harry on his birthday?

Now I really want to know what Viper has to say. Originally I thought the runes were just some odd protection made just-in-case. But didn\'t Harry read something about Aisling and her ability to read auras in his mother\'s diary? He should have *some* clue.

Voldemort worries me. Does he know Sev isn\'t trustworthy, or does he just suspect? I didn\'t quite understand why he was punished in this chapter. For not having any information?

what kind of chapter was that? where was the meat inb the sandwich. the action. il itl it should have been much longer. especially after my daily checks for updates. i adore this fic and i guess i had my expectations to high for one chapter. but there are so many questions i have that need answers. please write/post more soon.

Oh, my. Harry will be so pissed. He\'s already had it with being the guardian of Hogwarts, and now it might be permanent! Albus really uses people in yourry, ry, even though he thinks its all for the best.

I am really enjoying your story, alot of it seems very original to me. I see that you are bringing the Hermione and some of the other Weasleys around- I appreciate that they are not remaining out of it for too long. I do wish that you would find a wa rel release Pansy from the marriage evelly.lly... she seems to have gotten the shaft worse than anyone, even Harry, quite frankly. To be disowned and sold off in marriage to live as a virtual slave is far worse than knowing someone you love has died... at least in the case of the death you know someone did love you, whereas in the marriage situation, you have proof of the opposite.
Also, although I enjoy your Neville, Seamus and Blaise, I\'d rather see D/H in this story than those others... its not because that\'s my ship, either. Its because what you wrote about Dracos\' parents death and his temperment... that makes Harry able to understand him in a way ne ele else could, and without Harry he either has to stay with Pansy or wind up alone, because who else could understand why he is the way he is? Seamus and Neville have backgrounds that are too healthy to truly understand the D or H, even though I love what you are doing for them as characters. Blaise might work, his background hlot lot of mystery, but it just doesn\'t seem to fit as well.
I would like to see you write more about how Dracos\' orphaning must be affecting him... obviously he\'s still being somewhat of a prat, but shouldn\'t there be other breakdown signs? And shouldn\'t the other apprentices have some reaction to all the tragedy surrounding him and Pansy? Regardless of his rudeness, and the busyness of the other apprentices, I can\'t imagine them not at least talking a the the whole thing more.
I like the S/L subtext you have running through your whole story, as well as all the shades of grey you;ve captured with bad aurors, sacrifical mothers who are death eaters, and confused Weasleys.

OMG! That was raelly worth waiting for! I absolutly loved how they met Viper and Seamus\' nonchalance with Sev. OMG! Albus D-dor is a real bastard. I hope all this will fall on his head, but I\'m afraid that the wisarding world will pay for his gamrs dearly. A couple of questions/thoughts: bond with Hogwarts. Does it mean D-dor will sease to be Headmaster? Probably no, if it was so Hogwarts staff would had been voicing their concerns much louder. \"With a bit of luck\". Is it special set of circumstances, essential for the bond to occur? And if Harry will bond to Hogwarts, wouldn\'t it mean, that his first and foremost will be protection of Hogwarts itself and students inside, prophecy be damned? Promises and simple human honesty. In this case they are apparently non-existent. Didn\'t AD promise not to withhold information from Harry? I hope Viper will find a way for Harry to escape bonding with Hogwarts. Even if its a good thing, something makes me sick about it.
Update sooner, please, I,m not sure I\'ll be able to wait a whole week.

Sorry, after my review have appeared in the bottom of the reveiw page, I couldn\'t help but read first and last. They are about prospective romantic pairings in your story. My opinion is that you really need to wait much, much longer in the storyline for it to occur. Now there are to much going on for Harry to even begin think about it. And when it will happen, I think Harry will go for het relationship, not that I have anything against slash, het just seems more realistic for him.

WOW!!!! Great story. Hope you\'ll update anytime soon. Don\'t know where this story is leading, so if my comment is unappropriate please disregard it. I\'ve noticed that you describe every (well, almost every) day in detail --which it\'s really great sofor-- but if you\'ll keep this pace up, your story could end up to be very tedious. Also if Voldemort will attack and Harry is to defeat him, Harry will need a lot more training. Training will take time, so unless you want to write a volume of atleast several hundred pages, it\'s my humble opinion that you should (when everything is back to normal) concentrate on events instead of describing every day. I really love this story. Please do not take my comment the wrong way. I just noticed it and thought I point it out. Hope you\'ll update very soon, this is certainly a story I will check for updates.

PS. If there is going to be any slash...... I\'m a real sucker for Harry/Severus, perhaps a trio with Remus, Harry and Severus???
