He held her tighter. "Did you want to kiss me?"

There was a pause as she listened to his heartbeat. "I wanted to shut you up. I'm not sorry I did it, if that's what you mean."

He held her a few more moments before he pulled away and looked at her. "I'm not sorry either. In fact, I wouldn't mind a repeat performance. One in which I can display my talents." His face softened as he looked and her and his mouth almost turned up in a smile.

She shook her head. "No."

He frowned and pushed her back. "You insufferable little witch!"

She smiled. "Now, I'll kiss you." He frowned in confusion. She lay her arms over his shoulders. "It's not you. I'm not impulsive and you're not nice. Don't try to be something you're not."

He shook his head and pulled her against him. "I stand corrected. You are rather intelligent."

what happened after that between hermione and severus??? was it a full relationship or what?? and when did she conceive stephani??

I like this story. There are a few errors but not many to deterr any from reading the story. I enjoyed reading it, though i found it a bit stilting, as i believe too many sentences ended a bit short.

Also, i couldn't finish it unfortunately, as in chapter twelve, the majority of the chapter was missing and so i missed a section of the plot. I felt that i couldn't continue with the story past that as i felt as i if i was missing a chunk big enough to throw me off.

Otherwise i enjoyed it very much, and if you ever edit or get a chance to fix the chapter, i will hope to read more. Thank you for writing. :)

Your consistent inability to differenciate between "to" and "too" is disturbing. That fact that this was beta-read is even more disturbing.

Well, I don't usually read stories on the main page of Harry Potter but I have a couple of favourites I am following and by accident found yours. I am so glad that I did and will definitely keep a lookout for the sequel...I have to find out how/if Stephanie regains her voice and what house she is sorted into. Thanks for sharing your story.
