Chapter 25-26: How sad and enraging that blowhards at the Ministry behaved so poorly to Snape, basically uninviting him to the celebration.
Your Lucius has the hide of a rhinoceros and the poison tongue of an curare dart. I do find it hard to believe Snape would listen to anything Lucius said, knowing him so well. But I suppose Snape was ripe to hear of something bad about the woman who left him, compounded by seeing her with Longbottom.
