Excellent so far! Can't SS take some of the potion himself? How would that be for a twist if he could go in there knowing what LV was planning? Looking forward to seeing where you go with this. p

So sweet and romantic without being mushy or taking Snape too far off character. Loved it! Thanks for sharing. p

You know, it's amazing. Simply amazing. I've been reading this smut for well over a year, maybe even two, and when I am in need of something really well written, I remember your name and come to read anything you've done.
Thank you for your excellentness!
Karena Elizabeth (who is about to go through and reread every single one of your stories -- AGAIN)

Well now, I didn\'t think I\'d ever find a fanfiction (Severus/Hermione or not) that I would enjoy more than Gift Horse.....but you sure proved me wrong!
I love the way you write, how instead of describing everything overmuch, as some writers do, you more paint a background that compliments the story shockingly well. The whole story flows, without any mar in the fabric. In many romantic fanfictions, a scene could be going perfectly, then they suddenly use a wrong word, such as having Severus blush instead of flush, that just puts off the whole rest of the scene.
Not many people could proclaim Severus a virgin either, while simultaneously keeping his reputation intact. Another thing you pulled off with mazing grace and talent. And I especially liked when Severus gave Hermione that insight on a woman liking tragic figures for their redemotion potential. You\'ve carefully skirted around most of the problems people find while trying to write Severus\'s reactions and actions. Kudos for that!
And finally I want to compliment your chess pieces, which made me extremely jealous and just about went online to find a set! I loved the balck king\'s reaction to Hermione\'s surrender, as well as their re-enactment of the lover\'s frantic coupling. ^_-
And the slander-proof ink for the Daily Prophet is certainly something JK should look into....

Absolutely fantastic! This is exactly how I imagine Severus and Hermione. Doubting and questioning themselves, yes; but not to the point of paranoia. Just until they\'ve analyzed the situation enough to feel comfortable with their conclusions. Your banter with the chess set is unbelieveable. I could picture every little move they made in my head and felt like I was there myself (which I wish I was, of course, but in Hermione\'s position - literally). I can\'t wait to see what you come up with next.

Sweet angsty smut, ahhhhhhhhhh. That was a delightful little read. Enough plot to keep me interested and enough building lust and sexual tension to make me pant with aniticipation. Bravo. Loved the chess pieces plot ploy. Sex God Snape, hmmmmm, pardon my drool on the keybo Th That was very nice. If you haven\'t posted this on the Lord and Lady Snape web site, I highly recommend you do.
