I like. Harry\'s despair and loneliness are well described.
A small thing: twice you use the word \"oculates\" instead of eyes. I\'m not sure if it does also mean eyes - dictionary.com says it means 1) Furnished with eyes, and 2) Having spots or holes resembling eyes; ocellated. But even if it has the meaning \"eyes\", it is so unusual and pretentious that you really cannot use it twice without it sounding weird.
